PREVIOUSLY ON ANOTHER WORLD:

• Bridget has just informed Donna that she has been diagnosed with chlamydia
• Michele cryptically gloated to Elizabeth that Cory and Bridget’s relationship will not last.
• As the Corys celebrated ousting Iris from BAYCorP, Amanda Cory got a disturbing call from Sam about Alli.
• Matt Cory and Brianna Jameson have gone out on a few dates and are growing closer.  Matt is unaware of Brianna’s plot to kill Sharlene
• Amanda walked out on her boyfriend Allen Love after Amanda caught Allen snooping through confidential Cory Productions files.  Allen was working at Iris owned KBAY at the time, and Amanda feared he would take the information back to Iris.

AT BRIANNA’S APARTMENT, MATT AND BRIANNA ARE IN BED TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE.  EACH HAVE THEIR HANDS FOLDED ON THEIR STOMACHS LOOKING UP AT THE CEILING.

MATT:  Whoa.

BRIANNA:  Whoa is right.  

MATT:  I think we both have been...a little stressed I’d say.

BRIANNA:  No better way to get rid of it than to...let off some steam.

MATT:  I completely agree.

BRIANNA:  Can I...tell you something?

MATT:  Sure...anything.

BRIANNA SITS UP AND LOOKS STRAIGHT AHEAD.

BRIANNA:  You make me feel...like I’ve never felt before.  

MATT:  What do you mean?

BRIANNA:  We have such a great time together.  I feel like I can...let my guard down with you.

MATT SITS UP NEXT TO BRIANNA AND LOOKS AT HER.

MATT:  Me, too.  It’s been a long time for me.  I’ve been so focused on my daughter and the company that I...never took time to...find happiness.

BRIANNA ADJUSTS HER BODY TO FACE MATT.

BRIANNA:  Matt I think I’m...falling in love with you.  I didn’t expect this at all. I...thought we would be just casual.  Look I...I’m sorry if it’s too much I’ll...

MATT SMILES.

MATT:  It’s...not too much at all.  I feel the same way.

THEY ADJUST THEIR BODIES TO FACE EACH OTHER AND KISS.

AT THE CORYS, AMANDA WALKS DOWNSTAIRS WITH HER PURSE TO THE DOOR AND RACHEL WALKS IN THE FOYER TO MEET HER.

RACHEL:  You’ve got everything you need?

AMANDA:  Umm...yeah umm...yeah I got it.  Thanks.

RACHEL:  Are you sure you don’t want me to come with you?

AMANDA:  No. You’ve gotta keep an eye on things here.  I’ll check in.

RACHEL:  No you will not.  You focus on Alli.

AMANDA:  I can’t believe this.  My baby has been in an accident.  Sam says it’s touch and go. I...I gotta...go be with my daughter.

RACHEL:  Of course honey.  If you need me you call me okay?

AMANDA:  Sure.

THEY HUG EACH OTHER AND AMANDA GRABS HER SUITCASE AND OPENS THE DOOR.  THEY SEE ALLEN.

ALLEN:  Amanda? Where are you going?

RACHEL:  She’s gotta go out of town for a while.

ALLEN:  So you’re just gonna leave without talking to me?

RACHEL:  Allen this really isn’t…

AMANDA:  Mom...can you leave us alone for a minute please?

RACHEL:  Are you sure?

AMANDA:  Yes mom I can handle it.  Thank you.

AT THE MCKINNONS, VICKY WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM FROM THE KITCHEN AS SOMEONE RINGS THE DOORBELL.  SHE ANSWERS IT AS MICHELE WALKS DOWNSTAIRS.

VICKY:  Hi Elizabeth.

ELIZABETH:  Hey Vicky.

MICHELE APPEARS.

MICHELE:  Been expecting you.

VICKY:  Looks like you’re sleeping over tonight huh?

ELIZABETH:  Yeah. Sorry I didn’t ask you first.

VICKY:  Oh no honey it’s...perfectly fine.  You’re always welcome here. Well...as long as you two aren’t getting into trouble.

MICHELE:  Trouble? No...there will be no trouble...at least not here.

AT DONNA’S SUITE…

BRIDGET GETS UP AND DROPS HER PURSE.  ALL OF THE CONTENTS SPILL OUT. DONNA PICKS UP SOMETHING AND READS IT.

DONNA:  Amoxicillin?  This is an antibiotic.  Are you sick? I’ll have some specially made soup delivered.

BRIDGET:  I don’t need any soup.  I don’t get why you’re making such a big deal out of it.

BRIDGET TRIES TO WALK AWAY BUT DONNA RUNS IN FRONT OF HER.

DONNA:  Bridget talk to me!  What is going with you?

BRIDGET:  I have...I have chlamydia!

DONNA PUTS HER RIGHT HAND ON HER MOUTH IN SHOCK.

DONNA:  Oh my God.  So that’s what the antibiotics are for?  How did this happen? I thought you and Cory used protection when you had sex.

BRIDGET:  We did. I don’t even know how this happened.

DONNA:  Bridget...I need you to level with me.  I promise I won’t judge you.

BRIDGET:  You...you think I’ve been sleeping around?  No! Cory is the only guy I’ve ever had sex.

DONNA:  Bridget?  

BRIDGET:  I swear! I have not been with anyone else.

DONNA LOOKS AWAY FROM BRIDGET.

BRIDGET:  You believe me don’t you?

DONNA LOOKS BACK AT BRIDGET.

DONNA:  Of course I do.  You’ve been faithful to Cory.  Cory’s the one that hasn’t been faithful to you.

DONNA GOES TO THE CLOSET AND GRABS HER COAT AND PURSE.

BRIDGET:  Where are you going?

DONNA:  I’m gonna go have a talk with Rachel about her son!

CAMERA PAN ON DONNA...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

AT THE CORYS, IN THE BACK, AMANDA IS WITH ALLEN.

ALLEN:  Amanda tell me how I can fix this.

AMANDA:  There’s nothing you can do.

ALLEN:  I’m sorry...I’m sorry about the things I said to you about your father and Cory Productions.

AMANDA:  They were very hurtful, and I didn’t appreciate them.

ALLEN:  I was just trying to...I just wanted to help my daughter.

AMANDA:  You still haven’t told me what’s going on with her.

ALLEN:  She’s...it’s school.

AMANDA:  No...no don’t worry about it.  It’s going to be like this, and that’s why I...can’t be with you.

ALLEN:  What do you mean?

AMANDA:  You betrayed me to help KC.  There are other ways you could have gone about it without hurting us.

ALLEN:  I didn’t...Iris promised me a raise if I got some information on the merger.  I never told that you were planning to oust her from the new company.

AMANDA:  Oh and you think you deserve points for that?  You betrayed me...again! Two’s a trend Allen. Excuse me I...I have to leave.

ALLEN:  Amanda please wait.  Where are you going?

AMANDA:  I have to go to California.  Alli’s been in a terrible accident.  I need to go be with her.

ALLEN:  Oh my God.  Is she alright?  

AMANDA:  She’s in critical condition.

ALLEN:  Is there anything I can do?

AMANDA:  Yes...as a matter of fact there is.  You can face the truth, and follow your heart.

ALLEN:  My heart is with you.

AMANDA:  No, Allen, it’s not.  Your heart is...is with your ex-wife.  You need to...pursue whatever you feel.  

ALLEN:  That’s not true.  Toni’s my daughter’s mother that’s all.  

AMANDA:  That’s what I mean.  You’re not being honest about how you really feel.  I saw the way you were with her. You’re in love with her.  You need to follow your heart.

AMANDA WALKS TO THE DOUBLE DOORS.

ALLEN:  I’ll keep in touch while you’re gone and we can iron out our problems when you get back.

AMANDA TURNS TO FACE ALLEN.

AMANDA:  It’s over Allen.  We are over.

AMANDA OPENS THE DOORS AND WALKS INSIDE THE HOUSE.

BRIANNA LIES ON HER BACK ON THE BED, WHILE MATT PROPS HIMSELF WITH HIS RIGHT ARM AND FACES BRIANNA.

BRIANNA:  I don’t want this night to end.  I just...wanna forget everything and be here.

MATT:  Ditto.

BRIANNA:  I never even felt this much love.

MATT:  Not even growing up.

BRIANNA:  Growing up?  

MATT:  Yeah your childhood.  Where did you grow up by the way?

BRIANNA:  Philadelphia.  I got raised partly by my grandmother, and partly by nannies.

MATT:  What about your mom?

BRIANNA:  She was so into her career that I barely saw her.  

MATT:  Where is she now?

BRIANNA:  She’s dead.

MATT:  Oh I’m...sorry to hear that.

BRIANNA:  I still...miss her you know.  Count your lucky stars that you still have yours.

MATT:  Yep I got mine.  It’s not like we haven’t had our ups and downs, especially when it came to Carl Hutchins.  Amanda and I did some...things we weren’t proud of to get Carl out of her life.

BRIANNA:  There’s almost nothing we won’t do for our parents.

MICHELE AND ELIZABETH ARE IN MICHELE’S ROOM IN THEIR SLEEPWEAR.  BOTH ARE SIPPING ON WHAT’S IN THEIR CUPS.

ELIZABETH:  Your mom has no idea what we’re drinking huh?

MICHELE:  Vodka. This...feels great.

ELIZABETH:  It’s not like we’re...going out for a spin or anything.

MICHELE:  Absolutely not...no drinking and driving.

MICHELE TAKES A SIP AND ELIZABETH DOES THE SAME.

MICHELE:  This...is a celebration.

ELIZABETH:  Well it’s not official yet is it?

MICHELE:  It will be very soon.  It’s just a matter of time.  In fact I...I saw my sister at the hospital.  I bet she was there to see her...to see her OB doctor.

ELIZABETH:  It was probably her routine exam.  

MICHELE:  Hellooo? Judging by the look on her face, I’m pretty sure she wasn’t there for a pap smear.

ELIZABETH:  Then what...whaddya think she was there for?

MICHELE:  Look...you can’t...ya can’t say anything about this okay.  

ELIZABETH:  Of course not.  You’re my best bud.

MICHELE:  Promise me you won’t say anything.

ELIZABETH:  Alright alright I won’t.  So tell me...what was Bridget there for?

MICHELE:  I dunno, but I did something.  You know...the security breach at the hospital.

ELIZABETH:  Yeah I read about that.

MICHELE:  Who do you think caused it?

ELIZABETH:  What? Who?

MICHELE:  Me...duh.

ELIZABETH:  Oh my God Michele that’s serious.  You could go to jail for that!

MICHELE:  It was so easy...I...I broke into the hospital mainframe...and I switched Bridget’s test results with someone else’s.

ELIZABETH:  What? What did you do exactly?  How did you even pull that off?

MICHELE:  I switched her test results with someone who tested positive…

ELIZABETH WIDENS HER EYES WITH SURPRISE.

ELIZABETH:  You made it look like...Bridget has HIV?  

MICHELE:  Oh come on...no...but chlamydia...yes.

AT DONNA’S SUITE, BRIDGET PICKS UP HER PHONE AND SENDS A TEXT MESSAGE.

BRIDGET’S TEXT:  Plz come to Donna’s.  I need you.

BACK AT THE CORYS, CORY IS WALKING DOWNSTAIRS WHEN SOMEONE RINGS THE DOORBELL. CORY ANSWERS THE DOOR.

CORY:  Donna hi.

DONNA WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM AND CORY FOLLOWS HER.

DONNA:  Where’s your mother?

CORY:  She went upstairs.  She’ll be back down in a second.  Why?

DONNA:  I wanna talk to her...now.

CORY:  Okay I can go get her if you want me to.

RACHEL WALKS IN THE LIVING ROOM.

RACHEL:  Donna what brings you by?

DONNA:  Good the gang’s all here.

RACHEL:  What’s going on?

DONNA:  Your son is  being irresponsible...and promiscuous.

CORY:  I’m sorry?  What is this about?

DONNA:  It’s about my granddaughter and what you gave her!

RACHEL:  I don’t understand.

DONNA:  You don’t understand?  Well I’ll be glad to help you!  Bridget has been diagnosed with chlamydia and Cory gave it to her!
