PART 1

AT THE FARM, GREGORY SLOWLY WALKS DOWNSTAIRS TO THE LIVING ROOM,
AND AS HE STRUGGLES TO GET TO THE COUCH TO SIT DOWN,
SHARLENE WALKS IN FROM THE KITCHEN AND NOTICES.
Gregory Hudson

Sharlene Hudson

SHARLENE:  Gregory?  Honey are you okay?
GREGORY:  Yeah I’m...I’m fine.
SHARLENE:  No you’re not fine.
GREGORY:  Mom.  Was that Frankie?
SHARLENE:  Yeah she just left.  Come on lemme help you.  Come on.

SHARLENE GENTLY PLACES HER LEFT HAND ON GREGORY’S RIGHT SHOULDER,
AND HER RIGHT HAND ON HIS LEFT ARM.
GREGORY WINCES AS HE AND SHARLENE SIT DOWN.

SHARLENE:  You look like you’re in pain.  Are the painkillers helping?
GREGORY:  They...I’m alright mom don’t worry.
SHARLENE:  Gregory you’re not well at all.  Your back is still hurting you isn’t it?
GREGORY:  Yeah.
SHARLENE:  I’ll get you those muscle relaxers.  I’m gonna talk to John when he gets
home.

---------------

AT THE HOSPITAL, JOHN IS SITTING IN HIS OFFICE ON THE PHONE.
Dr. John Hudson

JOHN:  Hi this is Dr. John Hudson.  I need my password reset.  I won’t forget it anymore.
I’ll write it down this time.

JOHN HITS A FEW KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD.

JOHN:  I’m in.  Thank you.

JOHN WRITES DOWN SOMETHING ON A YELLOW POST IT NOTE AND STICKS IT ON
HIS MONITOR.  THOMASINA KNOCKS ON THE DOOR AND PEEKS IN.
Dr. Thomasina Mason

JOHN:  Dr. Mason.  Hi.
THOMASINA:  We have an emergency board meeting to get to.
JOHN:  This late?
THOMASINA:  Yes.
JOHN:  I wonder why.  Must be serious.
THOMASINA:  It is.  There was a security breach.

------

AT THE CORY’S, ELIZABETH OPENS THE DOOR AND IT’S MICHELE.
Elizabeth Hutchins

Michele McKinnon

ELIZABETH:  Hey.
MICHELE:  Hey girl.  Is anyone here?
ELIZABETH:  No.  Mom, Amanda and Matt are at the office and Cory is out.
MICHELE:  Good because I can share my good news with you.

MICHELE WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM WHILE ELIZABETH SHUTS THE DOOR AND
FOLLOWS.

ELIZABETH:  Really?  Wonder what it is.

MICHELE SITS DOWN ON THE COUCH AND ELIZABETH SITS ACROSS FROM HER ON
THE CHAIR.

MICHELE:  Let me just say this.  It will only be a matter of time before my sister and your
brother will be finished.
ELIZABETH:  Is that right?  You seem very confident about it.
MICHELE:  It’s definitely going to happen.   Bridget and Cory’s relationship won’t survive
this.
ELIZABETH:  Oh my God what did you do?
MICHELE:  All we have to do...is sit back and watch it implode.

-------

AT DONNA’S SUITE, SOMEONE RINGS THE DOORBELL,  BRIDGET OPENS THE DOOR
AND SEES CORY WITH A BOUQUET OF ROSES.
Bridget McKinnon

Cory Hutchins

BRIDGET:  Hi.
CORY:  May...I come in?
BRIDGET:  With those things?  You definitely can.  You can give those to me.
CORY:  How do you know they’re for you?
BRIDGET:  Oh wait...they’re for my grandmother.
CORY:  Come on babe.  I’m trying to apologize.

BRIDGET TAKES THE ROSES, SEES A VASE, AND PLACES THE ROSES IN WATER ON
THE MANTLE NEAR THE FIREPLACE.  CORY WALKS PAST THE CENTER TABLE AND
SITS DOWN ON THE COUCH.  BRIDGET COMES AND SITS NEXT TO HIM.

BRIDGET:  In that case, I’d consider accepting.
CORY:  Look I...I wasn’t trying to take your sister’s side in this.
BRIDGET:  Really?  Coulda fooled me.
CORY:  We grew up together come on.  I hate to see you both at each other’s throats like
this.
BRIDGET:  You dated her in high school, and now you’re with me.
CORY:  That’s a long time ago.  I love you, Bridget.
BRIDGET:  And?
CORY:  I’m sorry.
BRIDGET:  Good.

BRIDGET SMILES AND THEY KISS.

PART 2

THOMASINA AND JOHN WALK BACK INTO JOHN’S OFFICE.

THOMASINA:  I guess it took something like this for them to approve the funding for a
firewall.

JOHN WALKS TO HIS DESK AND SITS DOWN.

JOHN:  Why did it take a security breach for them to give us the money?
THOMASINA:  We were all hoping it wouldn’t come to that.
JOHN:  Thank goodness nobody’s information was compromised.
THOMASINA:  You were right about the board.  I’m so glad to have you helping me.
 They are very tough.
JOHN:  I knew they would be.
THOMASINA:  I appreciate it.  Helps me to do my job better.
JOHN:  Well at least the board is finally taking steps to protect the patients.

BRIANNA WALKS UP TO THE DOOR AND LISTENS TO THEIR CONVERSATION.
THOMASINA SEES JOHN PICKING UP A POST IT NOTE THEN LOGGING IN TO THE
COMPUTER.

THOMASINA:  What’s that?  Tell you didn’t...you can’t write your password down.
JOHN:  It’s the only way I can remember it.
THOMASINA:  John what if someone comes in here and hacks into your portal.  You have
to be very careful with that.
JOHN:  Nobody comes in here.  I should be fine.
THOMASINA:  Dr. Hudson you need to be really careful with that.
JOHN:  I will Dr. Mason.
THOMASINA:  Alright.  I gotta get back to my office and....count my lucky stars that no
patient information was hacked into.
JOHN:  Okay.

BRIANNA HIDES AROUND THE CORNER AS THOMASINA LEAVES THE OFFICE.
MEANWHILE,  JOHN LEAVES HIS COMPUTER UP AS WALKS TO THE LIGHT SWITCH
AND SHUTS IT OFF.  HE SHUTS THE DOOR AND LEAVES.  BRIANNA RE-EMERGES,
AND SNEAKS INTO HIS OFFICE.  GUIDED BY THE COMPUTER SCREEN’S LIGHT, SHE
GOES UP TO JOHN’S DESK AND SITS DOWN.  THE INFORMATION ON THE COMPUTER
IS LOCKED.
Brianna Jameson

BRIANNA (whispering):  Password.  Sharlene?  Gregory?  Dammit.

BRIANNA LOOKS AT THE POST IT NOTES AND NOTICES ONE WRITTEN IN SMALL
LETTERS.  BRIANNA IS A BIT SURPRISED BY WHAT IS WRITTEN ON IT.

BRIANNA:  alwaysbemyson?

SHE TYPES THIS IN AND IS ABLE TO BREAK INTO JOHN’S DOCTOR PORTAL.  SHE
LOOKS TO CLICK ON “PRESCRIPTIONS”, BUT IS AGAIN SURPRISED BY WHAT SHE
SEES.

BRIANNA:  Oh...my...God.

------

AT THE FARM, SHARLENE WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM WITH PILLS AND WATER.

SHARLENE:  Hey I got those muscle...Gregory?

-----

AT THE ELEVATOR, GREGORY STRUGGLES TO WALK OFF OF IT WHEN BRIANNA
NOTICES HIM.

BRIANNA:  Gregory?  Are you okay?
GREGORY:  No.  My back hurts so bad.  Do you know where my dad is?  Or Dr. Winthrop?

BRIANNA THINKS QUICKLY AS SHE GETS AN IDEA.  SHE GRABS GREGORY AND
HELPS HIM.

BRIANNA:  Come with me.  I think I might have something that’ll help your pain.

-----

CORY AND BRIDGET ARE SITTING ON THE COUCH IN THE LIVING ROOM AT DONNA’S
SUITE KISSING, THEN THEY STOP.

CORY:  So do you accept my apology?
BRIDGET:  You drive a...hard bargain.
CORY:  What would I have to do to convince you?
BRIDGET:  Do this.

BRIDGET AND CORY CONTINUE TO KISS PASSIONATELY AND STOP AGAIN.

CORY:  Did that sway you toward a yes?
BRIDGET:  Yes.  I accept your apology.

THEY ARE INTERRUPTED BY A TEXT ON BRIDGET’S PHONE.  BRIDGET PICKS IT UP
AND LOOKS AT THE MESSAGE.

CORY:  What’s that?
BRIDGET:  Oh it’s a reminder for my follow up appointment with Dr. Davidson tomorrow.
CORY:  Your OB?  Is everything alright?
BRIDGET:  It’s routine.  I’ll go tomorrow and she’ll tell me everything is normal.
Nothing to worry about.
CORY:  Can’t they like...email it to you or something?
BRIDGET:  They do that after the follow up.  Now can you follow up that last kiss?

CORY AND BRIDGET CONTINUE TO KISS.

-----

ELIZABETH:  Really?  What exactly did you do?
MICHELE:  Now if I told you…
ELIZABETH:  I’m not gonna tell anybody Michele.  I’m all for it if it gets my brother away
from Bridget.  So spill.
MICHELE:  I’m just feeling so good about what I did.  It was just...genius.
ELIZABETH:  So you’re...sure that my brother is gonna break up with your sister after
what you did?
MICHELE:  Oh all hell is gonna break loose.  He’s gonna think Bridget is a slut.
ELIZABETH:  Maybe she is.  Who knows?
MICHELE:  Come on my sister’s a lot of things but she’s not the kind of girl who sleeps
around...but Cory’s gonna think so.
ELIZABETH:  You’re saying she’s got something?
MICHELE:  You...you could say that?

MICHELE SMILES.

PART 1

AT THE CENTER, DEVIN STANDS IN FRONT OF THE COFFEE SHOP ON
HIS CELL PHONE.
Devin Hutchins

DEVIN:  I visited the site yesterday.  Things are coming along really quickly.
We’re gonna probably gonna open ahead of schedule.  Yep...Club Freedom.
It’s a place where people can be...free.  They won’t be getting in free though.
I appreciate your support mom.  Love you.

DEVIN STARTS WALKING AND GETS ANOTHER PHONE CALL.

DEVIN:  Hello?... What?... Who is this?  I don’t know how you got my number,
but I’m not interested in that type of thing.

MEANWHILE, DONNA WALKING WHILE TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE.
Donna Love

DONNA:  What do you mean you and Tyrone aren’t coming back?
When am I supposed to see my grandson?  What?  Reginald is dead?
Unbelievable.  So now you have no excuse not to come back to Bay City.
Marley?  Don’t hang up.  Marley wait….

DONNA LOOKS AT HER BLINKING CELL PHONE SCREEN
INDICATING THE CALL HAS ENDED, AND SIGHS.
DONNA BACKS UP AND BUMPS INTO DEVIN.
DEVIN GRABS DONNA BEFORE SHE FALLS DOWN.
THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER AS DEVIN HOLDS DONNA’S RIGHT ARM.

-----

AT JOHN AND SHARLENE’S (the Frame farm), SHARLENE OPENS THE DOOR AND
IT’S FRANKIE.
Sharlene Hudson

Frankie Frame

SHARLENE:  Heeey.
FRANKIE:  Hi Aunt Sharlene.
SHARLENE:  Come on in.  Do you want some tea?
FRANKIE:  Not right now.
SHARLENE:  Well it’s not like you don’t know where it is.
FRANKIE:  Right.

FRANKIE SITS ON THE COUCH AND SHARLENE SITS NEXT TO HER.

SHARLENE:  Frankie is something on your mind?
FRANKIE:  Yeah.  Very much so.
SHARLENE:  Well what is it?  Anything I can do to help?
FRANKIE:  If you can expedite my divorce that’ll be great.

------

IN CASS’S OFFICE, CASS IS ON THE LANDLINE PHONE WHILE ORGANIZING FOLDERS.
Cass Winthrop

Felicia Gallant Blake

CASS:  So it’s confirmed?   Good.

FELICIA WALKS IN.

CASS:  It’s all set thank you.

CASS HANGS UP AND RETURNS TO ORGANIZING HIS FOLDERS.

CASS:  Hey there.
FELICIA:  Hey.  Looks like you’re pretty busy.
CASS:  I am.  Comes with being the sole owner of a law business.
FELICIA:  So Tyrone just called...and said he wasn’t coming back?
CASS:  Pretty much.  I just finalized his purchase of the business.
FELICIA:  So this big old place is all yours now.
CASS: And so are all of his cases.
FELICIA:  You’re gonna need an assistant.
CASS:  Yeah good idea.
FELICIA:  Can you take a break for a moment?

CASS CONTINUES TO FUMBLE HIS FOLDERS, THEN HE JUST STOPS.

CASS:  Another good idea.
FELICIA:  I need my friend right now.
CASS:  What’s wrong honey?   You seem nervous.
FELICIA:  You think after the charges were dropped I’d feel relieved.
CASS:  But you don’t.  You’re worried about Christy aren’t you?

-------
Christy Carson

AT CHRISTY’S SUITE, CHRISTY PICKS UP HER CELL PHONE AND MAKES A CALL.

CHRISTY:  Get here...now.

CAMERA PAN ON CHRISTY...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG

PART 2

DONNA:  I’m fine.
DEVIN:  Is everything...better since we talked last?
DONNA:  Yes it is.  Everything’s just...perfect.

DONNA STARTS TO CRY AND DEVIN EMBRACES HER.

DEVIN:  I’m so sorry Donna.
DONNA:  What are you sorry about?  I mean, this doesn’t concern you.
DEVIN:  You don’t look like you’re in good spirits.  At least let me walk you home.
DONNA:  Stop treating like I’m some helpless old lady.  I’m not that old for one thing and...I can’t get myself home thank you.

------

SHARLENE:  Divorce?  What?  Frankie what are you talking about?

FRANKIE GETS UP AND TAKES A STEP TOWARD THE KITCHEN, WITH HER BACK TO SHARLENE, AS SHE BRACES HERSELF TO TELL HER STORY.

FRANKIE:  I...I had no recollection of who I really was.  Why did this even happen?
SHARLENE:  Frankie sit down and talk to me.

FRANKIE TURNS AROUND AND FACES SHARLENE.

FRANKIE:  You can’t tell anyone about this, especially Cass.
SHARLENE:  You’re scaring me what’s going on?  Come on sit down.

SHARLENE PATS THE SEAT CUSHION WITH HER LEFT HAND AS FRANKIE SITS.

FRANKIE:  I left Bay City in 1999 when I realized that...Cass and Lila were very much in
love.  I saw how much Lila really loved Charlie.
You know that...Charlie ran off and...I found her.  She said she wanted to go with me.
That’s when I realized that I could never...rock her stability.
She had her daddy, Lila and Jasmine.  She had a family.
I didn’t want to get in the way of that.
SHARLENE:  Of course not you...you would never hurt Charlie.
FRANKIE:  I had to plant that phony story...that Anne O’ Donnell got Fax Newman
acquitted.  I knew Cass would drop me like a hot potato.  That’s exactly what he did.
SHARLENE:  So what does have to do with a divorce?
You were declared legally dead so Cass was free to marry Lila.
FRANKIE:  I know.  I was driving away from Bay City and...and I swerved and crashed.

FRANKIE HAS A FLASHBACK...SHE’S LYING IN A DITCH WITH BLOOD
SEEPING FROM HER HEAD.  BRADLEY O’ NEILL COMES AND PICKS HER UP.
FRANKIE WAKES UP LYING IN A BED.
Bradley O' Neill

FRANKIE:  Where...where am I?

BRADLEY IS SITTING VIGIL AT HER BEDSIDE STRADDLING FRANKIE’S HAIR.

BRADLEY:  You’re fine.  You’re safe.  You were in an accident.
FRANKIE:  What...accident?
BRADLEY:  You were injured, but you’re fine now.  I’ve been taking care of you.
FRANKIE:  Who are you?
BRADLEY:  I’m Dr. Bradley O’ Neill.
FRANKIE:  Who am I?

BRADLEY PICKS UP FRANKIE’S WALLET, LOOKS AT FRANKIE’S IDENTIFICATION,
AND SHOWS HER THE PICTURE.

FRANKIE:  Mary-Frances Ordway?  Sounds like an old lady.  I’m Frankie.
BRADLEY:  So we’ll...we’ll call you Frankie.
FRANKIE:  Okay...I don’t want it to be….a derivative of Mary Frances.
BRADLEY:  It’s a derivative of...Francesca.
FRANKIE:  Okay so...I’ll be Francesca.  My real name will be Francesca.

FRANKIE FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT.

SHARLENE:  Francesca?  That’s not a name you would choose.
FRANKIE:  But I did.  I guess I...subconsciously wanted to forget about everything that
happened in Bay City.  Losing Cass, losing my daughter.
SHARLENE:  So Bradley O’ Neill saved your life.  What happened after that?

FRANKIE HAS ANOTHER FLASHBACK.  IT’S A FLASHBACK TO A WEDDING
IN A CHURCH.  THE CHURCH IS DECORATED WITH WHITE STREAMERS.
GUESTS HAVE FILLED THE PEWS.  FRANKIE IS WEARING A WHITE DRESS.
BRADLEY O’ NEILL LIFTED THE VEIL AND THE MINISTER SAYS “I PRONOUNCE
YOU MAN AND WIFE.  YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDE.”
FRANKIE FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT.

SHARLENE:  So...that’s the man you are currently married to?  But you...you weren’t in
your right mind.  You thought you were Francesca.  You had no idea of your true identity.
FRANKIE:  Maybe I did Aunt Sharlene.
SHARLENE:  So you....are you saying that...you knew deep down that you were
Frankie Frame, but you went and built a marriage with Bradley O’ Neill?
FRANKIE:  He nursed me back to health.  He showed me...so much love.
There was no condition; there was no pretense.  He just loved me.
We raised a beautiful young boy together.
SHARLENE:  You had a baby with him?
FRANKIE:  No...no he was doing it as a favor to a friend.
SHARLENE:  You and this Bradley O’ Neill had a whole life together.  Were you happy?
FRANKIE:  Yes..very.  Until I recovered all of my memories of my life with Cass.
SHARLENE:  And you came back to Bay City.
FRANKIE:  And he loved me enough to let me go, and I still love him for it.
SHARLENE:  But you’re still married to him.  At some point you will have to tell
Cass the truth.
FRANKIE:  I gave divorce papers to Tyrone to file.  Cass...may never need to know.

----------

FELICIA:  Not exactly, but it does seem odd that she decided not to pursue charges.
CASS:  Makes you think she’s got something up her sleeve.
FELICIA:  Well you know what, I’m not scared of her.
CASS:  That’s great but...she’s lost a baby that she really wanted.
Who knows what she’s gonna do?  We have to be prepared.
FELICIA:  I’m not gonna spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder for Christy.
CASS:  Of course not honey, but she has nothing to lose now.
Her whole plan was to have a baby by me, and you took that away.
There’s really no telling what she’s planning.

----------

BRIANNA IS IN CHRISTY’S SUITE.
Brianna Jameson

BRIANNA:  How do you expect me to do that?
CHRISTY:  I strongly suggest you find a way.
BRIANNA:  That’s not as easy as you think.  Everything is on the doctor portal.
They don’t use prescription pads anymore.  This is the 21st century.
CHRISTY:  Oh I’m sure you’ll think of something.
BRIANNA:  Aren’t you leaving?  What are you still here for?  Why are you still in Bay City?
CHRISTY:  I don’t appreciate you questioning me.  Just do as I ask you,
because the consequences would be far more dire for you if you don’t...Ellen.
