  • John and Frankie discovered that Brianna is Ellen Benson, Taylor Benson's daughter, and deduced that Brianna/Ellen came to Bay City to kill Sharlene

PART 1

Lindsay Winthrop

LINDSAY IS AT HER AND GREGORY’S APARTMENT SWEEPING THE FLOOR AND SHE SEES SOMETHING JUTTING OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THE COUCH.  SHE PICKS IT UP.

LINDSAY:  What?  How did this get in here?

IT’S SHARLENE FRAME HUDSON’S CREDIT CARD.  SOMEONE KNOCKS ON THE DOOR.

------------------------------------------------------------

John Hudson

Frankie Frame

AT THE FARM, JOHN WALKS TOWARD THE DOOR AND FRANKIE WALKS IN.

JOHN: Frankie.  Hey.
FRANKIE:  Where’s Sharlene?
JOHN:  She went out.  What’s going on?
FRANKIE:  You have a minute?
JOHN:  I was on my way to town.
FRANKIE:  It’s important.

FRANKIE TAKES OUT THE LETTER SHE RECEIVED IN THE MAIL AND GIVES IT TO JOHN.

JOHN:  This…looks like an estate record.

JOHN LOOKS AT IT MORE CLOSELY.

JOHN:  Oh my God.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Brianna Jameson

IN THE HOSPITAL LOCKER ROOM, BRIANNA IS PACKING UP HER THINGS WHEN LINDSAY WALKS IN.

LINDSAY:  Hey.
BRIANNA:  Hi Lindsay.
LINDSAY:  You’re packing up?  Are you leaving?
BRIANNA: Yep.  I quit.
LINDSAY:  Wow.  This place is gonna miss you.  Everybody talks about you.
BRIANNA:  I bet they do.

LINDSAY CHUCKLES.

LINDSAY:  Oh no I didn’t mean in a bad way I…mean the docs rave about your work.
BRIANNA:  Well I’m very happy about that.  You know what…I AM gonna miss this place.  I got an opportunity to be a good…nurse.
LINDSAY:  Well the clinical staff really likes you.  You’re gonna be missed.

LINDSAY NOTICES SOMETHING THAT BRIANNA IS PACKING.

LINDSAY:  Wait a minute.  Are those ruby red?
BRIANNA:  Uh..yeah…yeah they are.
LINDSAY:  I have a pair just like those.  Well...I HAD a pair.
BRIANNA:  What happened?
LINDSAY:  You know what I really don’t know.  It’s almost like they just disappeared.  Oh well.  I wish you the best of luck with everything.
BRIANNA:  Thank you.

--------------------------------------------------------
Sharlene Frame Hudson

LINDSAY LEAVES THE LOCKER ROOM.  WALKS DOWN THE HALL AND RUNS INTO SHARLENE.

LINDSAY:  Hey Sharlene hi.
SHARLENE:  Lindsay.
LINDSAY:  I’m glad I ran into you.  Are you looking for John?
SHARLENE:  Umm…yeah actually I am.
LINDSAY:  I can check with the nurses station…
SHARLENE:  No.  I don’t need you to do that!  Sorry I’m…I’m just in a bit of a hurry.
LINDSAY:  Oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to keep you, but I have to tell you something.  I found your credit card on my living room floor earlier.
SHARLENE:  What?  Why would my credit be there?
LINDSAY:  I don’t know.  Did you let Gregory borrow it?
SHARLENE:  No.  I reported it stolen so it’s pretty much no good now.  I’m getting a new one.
LINDSAY:  Are you sure?   Maybe you gave it to him when he stayed over at your house last week.
SHARLENE:  Stayed over?
LINDSAY:  He didn’t come home one night.  He called and told me that he was spending the night at the farm.
SHARLENE:  I’m sorry Lindsay.  Gregory hasn’t spent the night at our house since he moved in with you.
LINDSAY:  Why would he tell me that and…thanks Sharlene.
SHARLENE:  Is everything okay?
LINDSAY:  Um..uh…yeah.  Everything’s fine.  I probably got things mixed up.

SHARLENE NOTICES BRIANNA GETTING ON THE ELEVATORS.

SHARLENE:  I’m sorry I…I really gotta go.
LINDSAY:  Okay.  Thanks.

------------------------------------------------------------

AT THE CENTER, GREGORY IS WITH ELIZABETH IN A SECLUDED CORNER.

ELIZABETH:  Are you in some kind of trouble?
GREGORY:  Yeah.  Big trouble.
ELIZABETH:  What is it that I can do?
GREGORY:  I messed up…real bad.
ELIZABETH:  Gregory just tell me what’s going on.
GREGORY:  Nah Lizzie I…I can’t involve you.  You’ve done more than enough already.
ELIZABETH:  What is it?  What’s going on?

ELIZABETH PUTS HER RIGHT HAND GENTLY ONTO GREGORY’S LEFT CHEEK.

ELIZABETH:  Talk to me.
GREGORY:  Okay.  If I don’t get five hundred dollars by the end of the day…I could be dead.

CAMERA PAN ON GREGORY.  SLOW FADE OUT.  FADE TO THEME SONG.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

PART 2

Elizabeth Hutchins

Gregory Hudson

AT THE CORY CARRIAGE HOUSE, ELIZABETH AND GREGORY WALK IN THE LIVING ROOM.  ELIZABETH GIVES GREGORY AN ENVELOPE.

ELIZABETH (sighs):  This should do it.
GREGORY:  Thank you.  You don’t know how much this means to me.
ELIZABETH:  I do.
GREGORY:  Lizzie I…I don’t know what I’d do without you.
ELIZABETH:  Let’s hope you never have to find out.
GREGORY:  I don’t deserve your friendship.  I’m just a no good drug fiend.
ELIZABETH:  Don’t say that.  I know deep down you’re a great guy.  You just need to…get some help.

THEY SLOWLY MOVE CLOSER AND SHARE A PASSIONATE KISS, THEN THEY PULL AWAY.

GREGORY:  I gotta go meet them.
ELIZABETH:  Promise me you’ll be careful.
GREGORY:  I will.

---------------------------------------------------------------

BACK AT THE FARM, FRANKIE IS ON HER CELL PHONE.

FRANKIE:  Aunt Sharlene you have to call me as soon as you get this.  It’s important.

FRANKIE PRESSES END CALL.

FRANKIE:  We gotta find her.
JOHN:  She was supposed to call me when she got to the Center.  She said she was having lunch with Gregory.
FRANKIE:  Do you think something may have happened?
JOHN:  No.  No maybe she just hasn’t arrived there yet.
FRANKIE:  We can’t put anything past Brianna.
JOHN:  It all makes sense now. You looked into her background and didn’t find anything.
FRANKIE:  I mean there was no record of her at all.
JOHN:  Sharlene said Brianna Jameson doesn’t exist.
FRANKIE:  And she was right.

----------------------------------------------------------------

BRIANNA IS AT A CEMETERY, AND SHE WALKS UP TO A HEADSTONE THAT READS:  TAYLOR BENSON.

BRIANNA:  Hi.  I hope you’re resting peacefully.  Better than the way you were treated when you were here.  You were right about this place.  Bay City isn’t the best city I’ve ever lived in, and John and Sharlene are horrible people, but I’ve…I’ve met someone.  A huge surprise.  He’s sweet, thoughtful, attentive.  He makes me laugh, and he’s a damned good lover.  His name is Matthew Cory.  And I’m so sorry to have to tell you this but…but I can’t do what you asked me to do.  I don’t want to jeopardize what I have.  I’m so sorry mom.  I don’t mean to let you down.

BRIANNA’S EYES WELL UP.

BRIANNA (continuing):  That’s not my intention, but I know you understand.  This feels so right, and we’re gonna start our lives somewhere else.  Oh mother I miss you, but I’m moving on with my life.  I love him.

BRIANNA TAKES OUT HER PHONE AND MAKES A CALL.

BRIANNA:  I just wanted to make sure you were clear on the instructions…good.

SUDDENLY, SHARLENE EMERGES.

SHARLENE:  So that’s it.  Your connection to Taylor revealed at last.
BRIANNA:  Following me huh?
SHARLENE:  Who were you on the phone with?
BRIANNA:  I don’t owe you any explanation.

BRIANNA TRIES TO WALK AWAY BUT SHARLENE STEPS IN FRONT OF HER.

SHARLENE:  Oh you’re not going anywhere, not until you hear what I have to say.

-----------------------------------------------------------

AT THE PARK, GREGORY MEETS UP WITH TWO MEN.  HE TAKES OUT AN ENVELOPE WITH THE MONEY IN IT.

GREGORY:  Here it is.

MAN #1 TAKES THE ENVELOPE, LOOKS INSIDE AND GIVES IT TO MAN #2.

MAN #2:  Does it check out?
MAN #1:  Yep.

GREGORY:  Alright I’m in the clear now.
MAN#1:  Not quite.  She told us to give you a message.
GREGORY:  Who?

MAN#1 PUNCHES GREGORY IN THE ABDOMEN.

GREGORY:  What are you doing?

MAN#2 PUNCHES GREGORY IN HIS FACE, KNOCKING HIM DOWN.  THE MEN REPEATEDLY KICK GREGORY WHILE HE IS LYING ON THE GROUND.

------------------------------------------------------

BRIANNA:  You must be splitting again.  So what personality am I speaking with right now?  It certainly couldn’t be Sharly because she was integrated, and you couldn’t be Emma.  She would…oh wait, you’re Janice.  You got away with attempted murder, and you let Matthew’s mother take the fall.
SHARLENE:  Make all the jokes you want, just as long as you’re on a one way ticket out of Bay City.
BRIANNA:  That’s my plan you know.  Matthew and I are gonna ride off into the sunset.
SHARLENE:  Ha!  I bet Matthew has no idea who you really are.
BRIANNA:  And just who do you think I am?
SHARLENE:  There are a lot of words that would accurately describe you, but I’m not talking about adjectives.

BRIANNA TURNS AROUND AND TAKES THREE STEPS BACK TOWARD TAYLOR’S GRAVE.

BRIANNA:  I haven’t got all night Sharlene.
SHARLENE:  Oh come on Ellen, don’t be coy.

BRIANNA TURNS AROUND AND FACES SHARLENE.

BRIANNA:  You’ve got probably got your phone recording.  I’m not admitting to anything.
SHARLENE:  You don’t have to.  I heard you on your phone, and you just called Taylor ‘mom’.  Funny she never mentioned you.

------------------------------------------------------

LINDSAY IS AT THE NURSES STATION AS CHARLIE WALKS UP TO HER.
Charlie Winthrop Harrison

CHARLIE:  Hey girl.
LINDSAY:  Hey.  Pre natal checkup?
CHARLIE:  Nope.  Sonogram.  Kirkland went to check us in.
LINDSAY:  Wow.  That’s…that’s great.
CHARLIE:  Linds are you okay?
KIRKLAND:  I’ll…go check us in.

KIRKLAND LEAVES AND CHARLIE TURNS TO LINDSAY.

CHARLIE:  Something’s on your mind isn’t it?
LINDSAY:  Yeah.  I just found out that…Gregory lied to me.
CHARLIE:  What about?
LINDSAY:  He didn’t come home one night, and he said that he was at his parents’ house, but Sharlene just told me that he hasn’t spent the night there since he moved in with me.
CHARLIE:  That’s strange.  What do you think is going on?
LINDSAY:  I don’t know.  I’ll be sure to ask him when I see him again.

---------------------------------------------------------

ELIZABETH COMES TO THE PARK AND IS HORRIFIED.

ELIZABETH:  Oh my God!  Gregory!

ELIZABETH FINDS AN BLOODIED, BEATEN, AND UNCONSCIOUS GREGORY.

END OF PART 2

----------------------------------------------------------

CONCLUSION

BRIANNA:  You can’t be trusted to tell the truth.
SHARLENE:  Oh it IS true.  Taylor never once said that she had a daughter.  It all comes together.  You come to town bent on revenge on me.  Unfortunately I’m not to blame for your mother’s illness.  Tell me something.  Did your mother tell you to kill me before she died?
BRIANNA:  Maybe she did, and maybe she didn’t.
SHARLENE:  Looks like someone else has a problem with the truth.
BRIANNA:  Did you think I would stop with you?  What about John?  What about Gregory?

SHARLENE BECOMES CONCERNED.

SHARLENE:  What about them?

BRIANNA SMILES.

SHARLENE:  What did you do to them?  That was what the phone call was about it wasn’t it?

BRIANNA SMIRKS AND TRIES TO WALK PAST SHARLENE AGAIN.

SHARLENE:  If you hurt my family I swear to God…
BRIANNA:  And just what are you actually going to do Sharlene?

SHARLENE TAKES OUT HER GUN AND POINTS IT AT BRIANNA.

BRIANNA:  You’re not gonna shoot me Sharlene.  You don’t have the GUTS!

SHARLENE FIRES A SHOT AND BRIANNA JUMPS BACK.

BRIANNA:  What the hell are you doing?
SHARLENE:  If anything happens to a member of my family, the next bullet I fire will go right through your CHEST!

SHARLENE WALKS AWAY.

Rachel Cory Hutchins

Matt Cory

AT BAYCORP, RACHEL IS SITTING AT HER DESK WHEN MATT WALKS IN.

MATT:  Hey mom.
RACHEL:  Hi there.
MATT:  I was wondering if you had gotten my request.
RACHEL:  For remote working?  Yes I certainly did.  I didn’t know you wanted to work from home.  I’m hiring a contractor to renovate the carriage house.  I can hold off on that if you want so you can work down there.
MATT:  Um…mom that’s what I came to tell you.
RACHEL:  What is it?  Is something wrong?
MATT:  I’m…not planning to work at home, or anywhere else in Bay City.
RACHEL:  What?
MATT:  I’m leaving town.
RACHEL:  Oh I had no idea you were planning to leave.  What brought this on?
MATT:  Brianna.  She and I are leaving together.
RACHEL:  Do you need to have your head examined?
MATT:  What do you mean?
RACHEL:  You leaving town is a terrible idea.

Sharlene Hudson

John Hudson

AT THE FARM, SHARLENE IS ON HER PHONE WHEN JOHN WALKS IN.

SHARLENE:  Okay thank you.  I appreciate it.

SHARLENE ENDS HER CALL.

JOHN:  Who was that?
SHARLENE:  That was my credit card company.
JOHN:  Looking for an increase on your line?
SHARLENE:  They’re gonna send me a new one.
JOHN:  What happened?
SHARLENE:  I saw a charge on my statement for $500 that I didn’t authorize.  I reported it stolen and they’ve reversed it.
JOHN:  Gotta be careful where you leave your stuff.
SHARLENE:  Excuse me.  I’m always careful with my things.  I don’t even know how this happened, but it’s been rectified.

SHARLENE GRABS HER PURSE.

JOHN:  Where are you headed?
SHARLENE:  I’m meeting Gregory for lunch at the Center.
JOHN:  Be safe out there.
SHARLENE:  If you’re talking about Brianna I’m not afraid of her.
JOHN:  You may not have to be.
SHARLENE:  What exactly do you mean?
JOHN:  I can’t keep an eye on her anymore.  She handed in her resignation.
SHARLENE:  Well I have protection if I need it.
JOHN:  I know.  Call me when you get to the Center okay.
SHARLENE:  I will.

THEY KISS EACH OTHER AND SHARLENE LEAVES.  JOHN RECEIVES A PHONE CALL.

JOHN:  Hello.
V.O.:  Hi is this John Hudson?
JOHN:  Yes.
V.O.:  This is Bay City Guns and Ammo.  Your merchandise is ready.
JOHN:  Thank you.  Can you hold them until tomorrow?
V.O.”  Sure we can.
JOHN:  Thank you.

--------------------------------------------------------
Gregory Hudson

Lindsay Winthrop

GREGORY IS IN HIS AND LINDSAY’S APARTMENT IN THE LIVING ROOM WHEN HE RECEIVES A TEXT FROM BRIANNA THAT READS:  U OWE 500.  U GOT 24H.

GREGORY:  What?   How the hell?   What am I gonna do?

LINDSAY WALKS IN FROM THE BEDROOM.

LINDSAY:  Do about what?

CAMERA PAN ON GREGORY.  SLOW FADE OUT.  END OF PART 1

-----------------------------------------------------------------

PART 2

GREGORY:  Hey babe.  I…I was talking about a favor I was supposed to do for my mom.
LINDSAY:  What kind of favor?
GREGORY:  She needs some stuff moved to the garage.  Some heavy boxes.
LINDSAY:  Oh.
GREGORY:  My dad can’t do it by himself.
LINDSAY:  Of course.  I understand.  Hey are you alright?
GREGORY:  Yeah I’m fine.  Why?
LINDSAY:  You seem a little nervous.
GREGORY:  Oh.  I’m a little jittery about my back going out while trying to move things for my mom.
LINDSAY:  Well maybe the boxes aren’t as heavy as you think.  Just stop if you think it’s too much.
GREGORY:  Will do boss lady.  Are you working today?
LINDSAY:  Yep.
GREGORY:  I’ll stop by and see you.
LINDSAY:  Okay.

THEY KISS.

GREGORY:  Bye.
LINDSAY:  Bye.

GREGORY RUSHES OUT.

--------------------------------------------------------

OUTSIDE THE DOOR, GREGORY SENDS A TEXT TO ELIZABETH:  Need 2 CU ASAP.

ELIZABETH RESPONDS:  K.  Meet at the carriage house

--------------------------------------------------------

MATT:  The only approval I was seeking was for the remote working, not my love life.
RACHEL:  Matthew how well do you even know her?  You haven’t been dating that long.
MATT:  I don’t have to explain this to you.
RACHEL:  This is rather sudden.  What brought this on?  It seemed like you were happy here, and now you want to leave town with this woman.  I don’t understand this.
MATT:  Now I know how Jamie felt.
RACHEL:  We’re not talking about Jamie.  We’re talking about you.
MATT:  It’s the same thing mom.  You meddled in his love life.  You meddled in Amanda’s, and now mine.  I’m sure you’re gonna do the same thing with Cory and Elizabeth.
RACHEL:  What has this woman done to you?
MATT:  MOM I’m not a child!  Nobody’s done anything to me.  I’m a grown man and I can make my own decisions.  She didn’t twist my arm or anything.  This is what I want.
RACHEL:  My God Matthew I want to believe you, but I don’t have a good feeling about this.
MATT:  I do.  It feels right, and I’m leaving town with Brianna, with or without your blessing.
RACHEL:  Have you even given this any thought?  Forgive me if I’m concerned.  This is happening very quickly.
MATT:  You met her didn’t you?
RACHEL:  Yes I did and I would need to know more about her.  Does she have some type of ulterior motive?  Why are you two so insistent on leaving town so fast?  Did you ask yourself those questions?
MATT:  I love her.  That’s why.
RACHEL:  Love isn’t enough honey.  If it were, you wouldn’t be leaving in such a rush.  Something isn’t right about this.  What about Jasmine?
MATT:  She can always come visit.  My choice has been made mom.  Thanks for approving the remote working.  I’m gonna pack up my office.
RACHEL:  You’re making a big mistake.  Please think this over before you leave.
MATT:  It’s a done deal mom.  I’m leaving Bay City with Brianna.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

JOHN WALKS TOWARD THE DOOR AND FRANKIE WALKS IN.

JOHN: Frankie.  Hey.
FRANKIE:  Where’s Sharlene?
JOHN:  She went out.  What’s going on?
FRANKIE:  You have a minute?
JOHN:  I was on my way to town.
FRANKIE:  It’s important.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

AT THE HOSPITAL, BRIANNA WALKS INTO MAGGIE’S ROOM.  MAGGIE LIES PRETENDING TO BE UNCONSCIOUS.  BRIANNA GETS A PHONE CALL FROM MATT AND TURNS TO FACE THE DOOR.

BRIANNA:  Well hey handsome.
MATT:  Hey you.

MAGGIE OPENS HER EYES AND LISTENS TO BRIANNA’S CONVERSATION.

BRIANNA:  I submitted my resignation.
MATT:  Oh you did.  I’m sure it went easier than it went with my mom.
BRIANNA:  Yeah I was gonna ask you about that.  I’m sure that ride was bumpy.
MATT:  Bumpy is an understatement.  She did not approve of my decision at all.
BRIANNA:  I mean I’d be happy to tell Rachel how much we love each other.  I can be very convincing.
MATT:  Don’t I know it.
BRIANNA:  Where is she now?
MATT:  She was in her office.  I can check.

MATT WALKS OVER TO RACHEL’S OFFICE AND LOOKS INSIDE.

MATT:  She’s not there.
BRIANNA:  Did she go home?  I can stop by there.
MATT:  I’ll call her.  In the meantime I’m gonna pack up my office and look for places for us to live when we start our new life.
BRIANNA:  We will need one of those won’t we?
MATT:  But I thought you wanted to live out of a tent in the woods.
BRIANNA:  As long as I have you, I’d live anywhere.  See ya later.

BRIANNA ENDS HER CALL AS DOES MATT.  SHE TURNS AROUND AND SMILES AS MAGGIE PRETENDS TO BE SLEEPING.

Maggie Winthrop

CAMERA PAN ON MAGGIE.  END OF PART 2

Elizabeth Hutchins

AT THE CORYS CARRIAGE HOUSE, ELIZABETH IS IN THE LIVING ROOM WHEN GREGORY WALKS IN.

GREGORY:  Hey.
ELIZABETH:  Hey you.

THEY HUG.

GREGORY:  I’m so glad you met up with me.
ELIZABETH:  Of course it’s no problem.  What’s going on?
GREGORY:  I hate to ask you this but I have nobody else to turn to.
ELIZABETH:  Just tell me what it is.
GREGORY:  I need a huge favor from you.

 ------------------------------------------

BRIANNA:  You know you’re not even worth it.  By the time you tell the cops anything, Matt and I will be long gone with new lives.  There’s nothing, you, Rachel, John, Sharlene, anyone can do about it.  You almost got in the way, but you didn’t.  None of you will.  After I say goodbye to my mother, I’m leaving.  Don’t worry, WE will never be back.

BRIANNA WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM AND MAGGIE OPENS HER EYES.

MAGGIE:  Oh no bitch.  You’re not going anywhere with Matt.

BRIANNA WALKS OUT OF MAGGIE’S ROOM, AND SHARLENE EMERGES FROM AROUND THE CORNER.

KIRKLAND:  Wow.  When?
GRANT:  Last night.
KIRKLAND:  Is there anything I can do?
GRANT:  Son, you’re being here is…is more than enough.
KIRKLAND:  I didn’t even know grandpa Spencer was dying.
GRANT:  I didn’t either.  He didn’t want anyone to know.
KIRKLAND:  How did you find out?
GRANT:  Kelsey called and told me.
KIRKLAND:  Dad I’ve never seen you like this.  I have to say though that you’re taking this harder than I thought.  You and Spencer weren’t always that close.
GRANT:  Despite everything we’ve gone through, he was still my dad.  He definitely wasn’t perfect, but I still loved him.  I’m so glad you and I have…reached a point where we could…at least be on good terms despite what I’ve done to your mother in the past.

KIRKLAND SIGHS.

KIRKLAND:  I came back to town angry at you, but…but just like you said about Spencer, you’re my dad…and I love you.

GRANT TURNS AROUND AND PULLS KIRKLAND INTO A TIGHT HUG, THEN LETS HIM GO.

GRANT:  You don’t know how much it means to me to hear that.
KIRKLAND:  I mean it.

Felicia Gallant Blake

RACHEL:  I really hope they can get to the bottom of this so you can have some closure.
FELICIA:  Meanwhile they don’t know where Christy is and I’m always wondering when she’s going to strike again.  She threatened my daughters.  She threatened Devin.
RACHEL:  I’m sure you’ve alerted them.
FELICIA:  Yes they know.
RACHEL:  Somehow, I believe everything is going to work out.  No harm is going to come to anyone you love.
FELICIA:  From your lips…
RACHEL:  You have to believe it.  Your family will be as safe as they’ve always been.
FELICIA:  We do what we have to do to protect them.
RACHEL:  Speaking of which…I have a delivery to make.
FELICIA:  Do you want me to go with you?
RACHEL:  No I need to…do this alone.

THOMASINA LOOKS AT IT AND FROWNS.

THOMASINA:  Oh.
BRIANNA:  I take it that you see it.
THOMASINA:  Effective immediately?
BRIANNA:  Yes I’m…moving away.
THOMASINA:  This is quite a shock.  I’d hate to lose you.  You’re one of our best nurses.
BRIANNA:  Thank you for that Dr. Mason I just…I can’t pass up this new opportunity.
THOMASINA:  I didn’t say I accepted this resignation.  I can’t let you go.

AT IRIS’S SUITE, IRIS IS SITTING ON THE COUCH WHEN VIVIEN, JR. WALKS IN THROUGH THE ELEVATOR DOORS WITH A BOX.

VIVIEN:  I got this from the front desk.

VIVIEN PUTS THE BOX DOWN AND IRIS SEES IT’S FROM SPRINGFIELD.
IRIS:  These must be…some of Alexandra’s belongings.

IRIS LEANS BACK ON THE COUCH AND VIVIEN STANDS OVER HER.

VIVIEN:  Well aren’t you gonna open it?
IRIS:  Not right now.
VIVIEN:  Why not?
IRIS:  It’s just gonna remind me of everything that I’ve lost.  My daddy’s company; my son hardly calls me, and my half sister.
VIVIEN:  Oh.  I’m…I’m sorry.  I didn’t mean to…
IRIS:  It’s okay.

IRIS SIGHS AS SHE GETS A CALL ON HER CELL PHONE.

IRIS:  Yes…okay.  Send her up.

IRIS ENDS THE CALL.

VIVIEN:  Who’s coming up?

THE ELEVATOR DOORS OPEN AND RACHEL WALKS IN WITH HER ENVELOPE.

IRIS:  Rachel.  To what do I owe the…pleasure?
RACHEL:  I came to give you this.

RACHEL GIVES IRIS THE ENVELOPE.

IRIS:  What’s in here?
RACHEL:  Open it.

IRIS OPENS IT AND READS THE LETTER AND IRIS LOOKS UP WITH A BLANK STARE.

IRIS:  Vivien I noticed that you were out of cleaning supplies.
VIVIEN:  I just bought some the other day.  We’re pretty stocked…

RACHEL AND IRIS STARE AT VIVIEN.

VIVIEN:  Why are you looking at me like that?  Ooooh I get it.  I DID notice we were low on bleach.

VIVIEN LEAVES AND AS SOON AS THE ELEVATOR DOORS CLOSE…

IRIS:  So this is the nail in the proverbial coffin isn’t it?
RACHEL:  Baycorp will be taking over any future productions that KBAY was credited with.
IRIS:  And you couldn’t wait to rub this in my face!
RACHEL:  What are you talking about Iris?
IRIS:  This is it.  I’m completely and wholly out of daddy’s company.  Isn’t that what you’ve always wanted?

CAMERA PAN ON IRIS.  SLOW FADE OUT.  FADE IN TO THEME SONG.

PART 2

Frankie Frame

Charlie Winthrop Harrison

CHARLIE:  Don’t leave anything out mom.
FRANKIE:  We expected that Fax was going to come after me, and he did.  I was supposed to pick you up from the sitters after Josie’s bridal shower.
CHARLIE:  I remember waiting for you.  I was wondering why you hadn’t shown.
FRANKIE:  I was given a drug so I could breathe, but I had to appear dead.  I had to lay low until Fax was caught.
CHARLIE:  I remember reading about all of that, but you didn’t come back…wait…you were Anne O’ Donnell?

FRANKIE SIGNS NERVOUSLY.

FRANKIE:  Yes.
CHARLIE:  So you came back to Bay City, and you never told us that it was really you.
FRANKIE:  I had no memory of who I was.  Something drew me to Bay City but I didn’t know why.  I was told that the Fairchilds died so the family couldn’t come after me.  It was safe for me to come back.
CHARLIE:  Did you tell anyone else about this?
FRANKIE:  I did, but it wasn’t entirely true.
CHARLIE:  So how do I know you’re not lying to me now?
FRANKIE:  I promise you sweetheart I’m not.
CHARLIE:  So you came to Bay City, with no memory of dad or me, and then you left.  What happened?
FRANKIE:  I had gotten into an accident and…I was rescued by a doctor.  He nursed me back to health and we…
CHARLIE:  Fell in love?  Wait a minute.  Bryant Kramer.  Do you know him?
FRANKIE:  Yes.
CHARLIE:  He said you helped raise him.  Who did you raise him with?
FRANKIE:  His name is Bradley O’Neill.

 ----------------------------

BRIANNA:  I’m sorry?
THOMASINA:  Dr. Matthews just left for Seattle and now this?
BRIANNA:  It’s just that…things in my life are finally looking up.
THOMASINA:  I mean I know I can’t stop you but there’s gotta be something I can do to keep you.  Is it a raise you’re looking for?  I can make that happen.
BRIANNA:  Dr. Mason this has nothing to do with money.  I found love.  I found the person I want to be with, and we’re leaving town together.
THOMASINA:  Where will you be working?
BRIANNA:  With the shortage of nurses I’m sure I’ll land a job somewhere.
THOMASNA: If you need a reference please don’t hesitate to call me.  I’ll be more than happy to put in a good word for you.  It truly is our loss.
BRIANNA:  I had a great time working here.  I…learned a lot.
THOMASINA:  And Bay City Medical Center was privileged to have you.  I mean you saved Tyrone and Marley’s baby from being kidnapped by my cousin.
BRIANNA:  Someone was putting her up to it, so I know it wasn’t entirely her fault.
THOMASINA:  You’re truly a hero.  I’ll um…send this to HR and I’ll have it processed.  I wish you the best of luck.

THOMASINA GETS UP, APPROACHES BRIANNA, AND THEY SHAKE HANDS.

 ------------------------------

RACHEL:  I didn’t come to fight with you.
IRIS:  You could’ve…sent this by email or…even delivered through a messenger.  No Rachel, you brought this over in person.  You wanted to make sure that I knew on no uncertain terms that I was out of daddy’s company.
RACHEL:  I have to get back to the office Iris.

RACHEL STARTS TO WALK TOWARD THE ELEVATOR DOORS.

IRIS:  What did my daddy ever see in you?

RACHEL TURNS AROUND.

RACHEL:  I beg your pardon.
IRIS:  How did you do it?  How did you manage to fool him?  I saw right through you from the moment I met you.  You were nothing but a GOLDDIGGER, and somehow you managed to get my father to fall in love with you.
RACHEL:  Is there a point that you’re trying to make?
IRIS:  That company belongs to me just as much as it belongs to any of your children!
RACHEL:  You tried to make a side deal with Devin Hutchins!
IRIS:  I shouldn’t have had to do any of that!  You trapped my father by having Amanda, and then he adopted Matthew, and don’t get me started on Paulina!  Sandy was the only one who had any sense!  You married my father twice, and with the ultimate stroke of luck, he dies so you could inherit his company, and you MISMANGED IT!
RACHEL:  You know what Iris I put up with your bratty behavior; your jealousy; your schemes for years because Mac loved you and I loved him.  I don’t have to do it anymore.  You can’t be trusted Iris.  You can NEVER be trusted!
IRIS:  And YOU CAN?  You went off and married CARL HUTCHINS of all people!  The man who tried to kill you and daddy.  The man who envied EVERYTHING that Mac had, and you HANDED IT TO Carl on a silver platter!  You are one STUPID woman!
RACHEL:  And you’re a spoiled BRAT who thinks she’s entitled to everything that Mackenzie Cory had and doesn’t want to share!  Time for you to GROW UP!
IRIS:  GET OUT!
RACHEL:  You have your copy of the final agreement.  Good day Iris.

RACHEL LEAVES.

IRIS:  You’re gonna pay for this Rachel.  I’ll make sure of it.

CAMERA PAN ON IRIS.  SLOW FADE OUT.  END OF PART 2

-----------------------------------------

CONCLUSION

CHARLIE:  Were you married?
FRANKIE:  We did, but we’re divorced now.
CHARLIE:  So as soon as you…recovered your memories you came back.
FRANKIE:  Of course I did.  I came back for you and your father; Aunt Sharlene.
CHARLIE:  Wow this…this is big.  Does dad know?

FRANKIE LOOKS AT CHARLIE.

CHARLIE:  Oh my God.  You guys are getting married and he doesn’t know?  You should have told him already mom!  You’re lying to dad!   That’s no way to start a marriage!
FRANKIE:  I’m going to tell him.  Tonight.
