Also, Brianna makes a major request of Matt; Kirkland gets an ominous text
Lily Mason |
LILY: I’m feeling good. Never better actually.
THOMASINA: I made an appointment for you to see an oncologist at the hospital tomorrow.
Thomasina Mason |
THOMASINA: I know. I was thinking maybe you should start your treatments here. At least you’ll have family around. That support is very important.
LILY: Niece I got all the support I need.
THOMASINA: What do you mean exactly?
LILY: Joy...decided to forgive me.
THOMASINA: Wow really? That’s fantastic. I know that’s a weight lifted off your shoulders.
LILY: She’s going to that party right?
THOMASINA: That Donna Love is throwing? Yeah she is.
LILY: I really want her to be happy…to live better than I did. Her forgiveness though, it gives me a lot of peace.
LILY: I love you, too.
Matt Cory |
Brianna Jameson |
MATT: You’ll see. Just wait.
BRIANNA: I never thought I’d find…love. I don’t want to ever let it go.
MATT: I don’t intend to let you…let it go.
Charlie Harrison |
Frankie Frame |
CHARLIE: Can I take something?
FRANKIE: Nooooo.
CHARLIE: I know mom I’m just…
FRANKIE: I know the feeling honey. I was the same way when I was pregnant with you.
CHARLIE: When will my stomach stop turning?
FRANKIE: I called Kirkland. He’s on his way back home.
CHARLIE: Why mom?
FRANKIE: He’s your husband.
CHARLIE: I wanted him to enjoy his family. I didn’t want him to miss Bridget’s homecoming. Besides, I’m in good hands with you.
FRANKIE: Yes dear, but he wants to be here.
CHARLIE: Do you have something else to do?
FRANKIE: There’s no place I’d rather be than with my only child.
CHARLIE: I thought you’d want to rush home to dad.
FRANKIE: Your dad and I will have plenty of time. You just hang in there.
CHARLIE: I thought it was supposed to be morning sickness, not evening sickness.
Kirkland Harrison |
CHARLIE: My stomach is spinning.
KIRKLAND: Anything we should be concerned about?
FRANKIE: It’s just part of being pregnant.
CHARLIE: Babe can you help me up.
CHARLIE: No.
Grant Harrison |
Kelsey Harrison |
KELSEY: I’m sorry Grant. He couldn’t hold on any longer. Uncle Spencer passed away.
Russ Matthews |
RUSS: Dr. Mason.
THOMASINA: Burning the midnight oil huh?
RUSS: You know I have to make sure that my patients are taken care of.
THOMASINA: I know. You are very well respected, and deservedly so.
RUSS: I appreciate that. This hospital is always gonna have a place in my heart.
THOMASINA: It’ll be that way for me, too.
RUSS: Have you checked your email?
THOMASINA: Not since I left earlier. Is there something I should be aware of?
RUSS: Yeah.
RUSS: I wasn’t asking permission.
THOMASINA: But, we were really just getting along. I don’t know what we’re gonna do without you.
RUSS: You’re gonna do just fine.
THOMASINA: But Seattle though?
RUSS: It was out of the blue almost, but it’s a great opportunity for me though.
THOMASINA: If I were you I…wouldn’t pass it up either.
RUSS: We’ll both be the Chief of Staff of our hospitals.
THOMASINA: Well at least you’ll be here until I find someone to replace you, although that’s not gonna be easy.
RUSS: I also emailed you my patient files. They want me to start in two days, so I’m leaving Bay City tonight.
THOMASINA: That settles it huh?
RUSS: I’m gonna miss this place.
BRIANNA: Hmm I wonder.
MATT: I know you’re not doubting your skills are you? Or mine?
BRIANNA: Oh absolutely not. I’m just thinking.
MATT: About what? What’s going on in your pretty little head?
BRIANNA: Will you feel the same way about our lovemaking when WE get old?
MATT: Why wouldn’t I?
BRIANNA: What about when I’m going through…oooh I don’t wanna even say it.
MATT: I think I know where you’re going with this. You’re talking about cramps, hot flashes, irritability?
BRIANNA: You’ve done your research.
MATT: You think menopause is gonna stop me from loving you?
BRIANNA: I dunno. Sometimes we women think about that. I don’t want to lose you.
BRIANNA: Matthew I…I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. I haven’t found a love like this…ever. I don’t want to lose you.
MATT: Stop talking like this. You’re not gonna lose me.
BRIANNA: I don’t quite know how I want to say what I want to say.
MATT: Just…say it?
MATT: Why?
BRIANNA: Don’t you get it? I want to leave town…with you.
MATT: That sounds good. I’d love to get away for a while.
BRIANNA: No. I’m talking about for good. Let’s leave Bay City together.
MATT: Babe you know I can’t do that.
Cass Winthrop |
FRANKIE: You’re still quite the charmer.
CASS: How’s Charlie?
FRANKIE: She’s…pregnant.
CASS: I gathered that.
FRANKIE: Going through pregnant people things. She’s gonna be fine. Kirkland’s with her.
CASS: So let me guess what’s happening. She’s got massive stomach aches and she can’t hold anything down.
FRANKIE: How did you know?
CASS: I know a thing or two about nursing a pregnant wife.
FRANKIE: Hmm I wonder how.
CASS: You got acquainted with the bathroom when you were pregnant with Charlie.
FRANKIE: And Charlie is now.
CASS: I have to say I’m a little concerned.
FRANKIE: Vomiting is not a cause for alarm when you’re pregnant.
CASS: No. It’s the stress.
FRANKIE: Did she talk to you about the lawsuit?
CASS: Oh we’re way past conversations.
FRANKIE: Did she decide what she was gonna do?
CASS: She gave me the green light.
FRANKIE: Wow.
CASS: She wasn’t sure at first but when she told me to do it she was very decisive.
FRANKIE: How do YOU feel about it? This would be the second time you’ve filed a civil suit against the hospital.
CASS: I’ll get to work on obtaining the facts.
FRANKIE: I’ll be supporting you again like I did last time.
-----------------------------------------------
KIRKLAND IS ON HIS CELL PHONE AS CHARLIE LIES ON THE
BED. KIRKLAND IS SITTING ON A NEARBY
CHAIR.
KIRKLAND: Yeah
she’s fine. She’s sleeping. Just a little sick. I wish I could be there. You guys have fun, and behave yourself mom.
KIRKLAND SMILES, ENDS THE CALL, AND GETS A TEXT FROM
AN “UNKNOWN” NUMBER. The text
reads: I WILL NEVER FORGET.
GRANT: I’m not too sure. Dad and I have always had a…contentious relationship. Do you know how long he had been like that?
KELSEY: For…a few weeks. He didn’t want me to tell you or Kirkland until about a couple of hours ago.
GRANT (purses lips): Of course he didn’t. Good old Spencer Harrison.
KELSEY: However there’s something that he DID want you to know.
KELSEY: Let me see it.
GRANT: Well what is it?
KELSEY: This is a semen analysis.
GRANT: Why would dad want to leave me something like that?
KELSEY: I don’t know whose test this is, but from what I can see, this patient is not able to reproduce.
GRANT: So dad left me a sperm test of a man who’s sterile?
KELSEY: A test that was taken at Bay City Medical Center recently.
KELSEY: Are you saying it’s somehow connected to this sperm count test?
GRANT: Carl said he kept my son from me. I thought it was his last mind game that he wanted to play on me, but I’m starting to think he was telling the truth.
KELSEY: So Carl and Spencer thought that you had another son besides Kirkland? That doesn’t make any sense. Who else could it be?
GRANT: I don’t know Kelsey, but if I find out whose sperm test this belongs to, I will find my son.
