PREVIOUSLY ON ANOTHER WORLD

• Brianna Jameson drugged and kidnapped Maggie Winthrop on the same night of Carl’s party.  Maggie recently remembered that Brianna kidnapped her, then Brianna locked her in the hospital freezer.  Maggie was found unconscious

• Lila and Jasmine have returned to Bay City.  Lila and Bradley O’Neill are working together to break up Cass and Frankie.  Bradley was Frankie’s husband during the time that Frankie was away from Bay City.  Cass proposed to Frankie, which she accepted.  Frankie, however, got a divorce from Bradley after the proposal, but she still has not told Cass that she was married

PART 1

AT THE HOSPITAL, CASS and FRANKIE WALK INTO MAGGIE’S ROOM, WHERE RACHEL AND RAFAEL WATCH OVER MAGGIE, WHO IS LYING IN A BED UNCONSCIOUS.

CASS:  Oh my God.  What happened?

RAFAEL:  They found her locked in the hospital freezer downstairs.

FRANKIE:  Are you serious?  How long was she there?

RACHEL:  Thankfully not that long.

CASS:  But long enough that she’s unconscious.

RAFAEL:  That’s what the doctors are saying.   Excuse me, I’m gonna go find my son.

RACHEL:  Rafael said that Brianna may have done this.

FRANKIE:  We have reason to believe that she’s been trying to hurt Maggie for a while now.

RACHEL:  I need to know about this woman. 

CASS:  Frankie and I have looked into it and we haven’t found much.

FRANKIE:  Only that she was connected to Christy.

CASS:  She forced Felicia to drink vodka and take flurazepam before she skipped town.

RACHEL:  Looks like Matthew picked another winner.

AT THE CORYS, MATT is on his cell phone as he gathers documents in his suitcase.

MATT:  Yeah we just hired someone new.  How’s Alli?.... Good you know I didn’t doubt that she was gonna recover....Come on Amanda I’m not trying to jinx it I know she’s not a hundred percent yet.  I gotta go see Maggie at the hospital.  I hope she’s okay.  Alright I’ll speak to you later.

MATT PRESSES END CALL ON HIS CELL PHONE.  HE GRABS HIS BRIEFCASE, WALKS THROUGH THE FOYER AND OPENS THE FRONT DOOR.  HE SEES A YOUNG WOMAN.

MATT:  Jasmine?  What are you doing here?

JASMINE:  Well hello to you, too dad.

JASMINE WALKS IN.

MATT:  I was just leaving.

JASMINE:  And where are you going that could be more important than seeing your daughter?

MATT:  Since you’re here, your mother can’t be far behind.  Is she in town, too?

AT BRADLEY’S HOTEL ROOM, BRADLEY IS ON HIS CELL PHONE WITH VICKY.

BRADLEY:  I’m sorry Vicky.  You can come here and talk about if you need to.  I’m here.  Okay see you in a bit.

SOMEONE KNOCKS ON THE DOOR.  BRADLEY OPENS IT.  IT’S LILA.

BRADLEY:  Hey Lila.  What are you doing here?

LILA:  Well I just came to check on ya.  See how ya holdin’ up.

BRADLEY SHUTS THE DOOR AFTER LILA WALKS IN.

BRADLEY:  Surprisingly well given the circumstances.

LILA:  You mean to tell that you ain’t pinin’ for Frankie.

BRADLEY:  I’m too busy being a friend to Vicky.

LILA:  You sound like that’s a bad thing.

BRADLEY:  No it’s not.  It’s been a very good distraction.  She’s going through a lot with her family.

LILA:  I can’t imagine what she must be goin’ through with her daughters.  I mean, Charlie and Jasmine had arguments but none of them ever ended up in a coma.

BRADLEY:  Bridget woke up and she doesn’t want anything to do with Vicky.

LILA:  Wow it sounds like you’re the one who’s broken up about it.

BRADLEY:  I just feel bad for Vicky that’s all.

LILA:  Are you sure that’s it?

BRADLEY:  What exactly are you implying Lila?

LILA:  If I ain’t know any better, I’d say you got a little thing for her.

BRADLEY SHAKES HIS HEAD AND SMILES.

AT THE MCKINNONS, VICKY GRABS HER PURSE AND DONNA WALKS IN.

VICKY:  Donna I’m not up for a years-too-late lecture.

DONNA:  Where are you going?

VICKY:  You must not have heard me.  

DONNA:  Don’t try to throw that bit at me about being a mother to you.  It wasn’t my fault what your grandfather did.

VICKY:  Look I know what you’re gonna say, and I had a talk with Bridget.

DONNA:  Really?  How did it go?

VICKY:  Just as I expected.  She told me to get lost.

DONNA:  Oh Victoria.  I’m sorry.

VICKY:  So now can you get off my back about making it up to her?

DONNA:  She’s just…she’s not ready right now.  She’ll come around eventually.  After everything that’s happened, the way she reacted shouldn’t have come as a huge shock to you.

VICKY:  It didn’t.  Look I’m headed out.  Lock up behind you.

DONNA:  So you’re just gonna leave me alone here.

VICKY OPENS THE DOOR, AND KIRKLAND WALKS UP.

VICKY:  Kirkland hi honey.

KIRKLAND:  Hey mom.  Are you gonna be gone long?

VICKY:  I dunno.  Maybe.  Hey keep your grandmother company.

KIRKLAND WALKS IN AS VICKY SHUTS THE DOOR. 

DONNA:  Hi sweetheart.

KIRKLAND:  What was that all about?

DONNA:  Your mother has lot on her mind.  So what brings you here?

KIRKLAND SMILES AND LOOKS AT DONNA.  

CAMERA PAN ON KIRKLAND…SLOW FADE OUT…FADE IN TO THE OPENING THEME

AT THE HOSPITAL, RACHEL, CASS AND FRANKIE are in the waiting area.

CASS:  We don’t mean to alarm you Rachel.  

FRANKIE:  We had no idea that she was dating Matthew.

RACHEL:  She seemed pretty nice when I talked to her, and Matthew is really into her.

FRANKIE:  Maggie asked me earlier to dig into Brianna’s past, but I refused.  I thought she was just jealous.  If only I had believed her.  Maybe this wouldn’t have happened.

CASS:  You don’t know that Frankie.  Besides we found that she was connected to Christy.

FRANKIE:  But that was a dead end, too.

CASS:  If it weren’t for that we wouldn’t have found Felicia.

RACHEL:  Thank God.

JOHN walks up to them.

John Hudson

CASS:  John.

JOHN:  Hi um.  I just checked on Maggie.  Still no change.

FRANKIE:  We need her to wake up and tell us what Brianna did to her.

CASS:  Is she around?  I’ll get the truth out of her.

JOHN:  I’m gonna tell you what I told Sharlene.  We should not make a move on Brianna without any evidence.  Right now all we have are accusations.  It’s her word against ours.

CASS:  There’s gotta be something we can get on her.

JOHN:  Sharlene and I went to Wood Pines and we found out that she was posing as Taylor Benson.

FRANKIE:  I feel like it’s right on the tip of our tongues.  We just can’t make the connection between Brianna and Taylor.  

RACHEL GETS A CALL ON HER CELL PHONE.

RACHEL:  Matthew hi.  Are you serious?  I’ll be right there.

RACHEL PRESSES END CALL.

RACHEL:  I’m gonna head back home. 

CASS:  We’ll call you as soon as we hear something about Maggie.

RACHEL:  Thank you Cass.  Before I leave, I thought you might like to know.  That was Matthew.  He said Jasmine showed up at the door as he was leaving.

CASS:  Jasmine?  What is she doing here?

RACHEL:  I guess I’m gonna find out.

RACHEL WALKS OUT.

CASS:  If Jasmine’s here, then Lila must be, too.

FRANKIE:  Lila?  Why did they come to Bay City now?

CASS:  Who knows?

KIRKLAND:  I was hoping to talk to mom but…

DONNA:  Well…is it something you can’t talk to me about?

KIRKLAND:  I kinda wanted to tell my parents first.

DONNA:  I’m your grandmother.  I can tell Victoria.

KIRKLAND:  The last time I told them something big it turned into a competition.  

DONNA:  What exactly do you mean?

KIRKLAND:  Mom was upset that I told my dad about the wedding before I told her, so this time I wanted to tell them both at the same time.

DONNA:  Your father and your mother have been pulling you in every direction since you were a little boy.  So…what is it that you were going to tell…

DONNA PUTS HER LEFT HAND ON HER MOUTH AND REMOVES IT.

DONNA:  Oh, you and Charlie are gonna have a baby?  Victoria’s gonna be a grandmother.

KIRKLAND:  And that would make you a…

DONNA:  Don’t say it.  I don’t need any more reminders of…this is fantastic Kirkland.  Congratulations.  I’m so happy for you.

DONNA HUGS KIRKLAND.

DONNA:  Enjoy it.  You’ll be there for the birth of your child.  Have you and Charlie come up with any names.  You can name her after me if it’s a girl.

KIRKLAND:  Oh come on grandma what am I supposed to say to that?

DONNA:  So you’re not gonna name her after me?

KIRKLAND:  We don’t know the gender of the baby yet.

DONNA:  Okay well honey I’m very happy for you and Charlie, and I want you to enjoy this.  Seems as though you’re the bearer of good news in this family.

KIRKLAND:  I’m…gonna be a dad.  How did grandpa Michael feel when he found out you were pregnant?  Aw man, grandma I’m so sorry.  I forgot all about…

DONNA:  No sweetheart you don’t have to apologize.  My father robbed me of the joy of having a baby.  Don’t let anyone do that to you.

DONNA TURNS AWAY FROM KIRKLAND.

KIRKLAND:  Well I know mom and Aunt Marley have had their differences but…they’re cool now.

DONNA:  Yeah they are.  Now if we can only get Bridget and Michele to get along.  I’m just happy that Victoria and Marley get to be with all of their children.

KIRKLAND:  Of course.  

DONNA:  I…didn’t get that chance.  

KIRKLAND:  What great grandfather did was evil.  Sending mom away and making you think that Aunt Marley was your sister.

DONNA:  Yes it was.

KIRKLAND:  Well, mom and Aunt Marley found each other.

DONNA:  There’s more than just Victoria and Marley.  There was a third child.

KIRKLAND:  What?  You never mentioned that you had triplets.

DONNA:  All this…talk about you having a baby with Charlie, it brought up…thoughts you know?

KIRKLAND:  Did Reginald take this baby away from you, too?

DONNA:  Yes.  

KIRKLAND:  Wow grandma I…I didn’t mean to bring all of this pain up for you.  We should…try and find him…or her.

DONNA:  I…have no idea where to even start looking.

MATT:  You guess?  If you were coming to Bay City your mom would have called and told me.  Have you seen your grandfather yet?

JASMINE:  No.

MATT:  I’m surprised you haven’t hit him up.

JASMINE:  You act like I only call Grandpa Mitch when I want something.

MATT:  Well you do.

JASMINE:  I can’t help it if he spoils me.

RACHEL WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM.

RACHEL:  Well that’s not the only grandparent that spoils you.

JASMINE:  Gram.  Hiiiii.

JASMINE WALKS UP to RACHEL AND THEY HUG EACH OTHER.

RACHEL:  Good to see you sweetheart.  So how long are you visiting for?

JASMINE SMILES.

BRADLEY:  Vicky and I have become good friends, but I don’t have any feelings for her.

LILA:  Ummm hmmm.  So you’re still hung up on that red headed liar.

BRADLEY:  Don’t talk about Frankie like that.

LILA:  Well it’s true isn’t it?  She hasn’t told Cass that you two were married.  Hell I even bet that she hasn’t told him where she’s been all this time since she left.

BRADLEY:  Frankie’s a good woman.

LILA:  But she’s no good for Cass.  She’s gon’ destroy him.  She came back and played Anne O’ Donnell and damn near turned Charlie’s life upside down.  No.  No I ain’t lettin’ her marry Cass.

LILA GETS A TEXT AND READS IT.

BRADLEY:  Who’s that?

LILA:  It’s Matthew.  Oh no.  Jasmine’s at the Corys.  I got to go over there and do damage control.  We’ll talk soon.

LILA GOES AND OPENS THE DOOR AND SEES VICKY.

VICKY:  Lila?  

LILA:  Vicky hey.

VICKY:  What are you doing here?
