PART 1

David Forsyth as Dr. John Hudson

Anna Holbrook as Sharlene Hudson
AT THE HUDSONS, SHARLENE IS ON HER CELL PHONE IN THE LIVING ROOM WHILE JOHN COMES DOWNSTAIRS DRESSED IN A SKY BLUE SHIRT, MATCHING NAVY BLUE TIE, BLACK SLACKS AND SHOES.  SHARLENE IS WEARING A FLOWER SUNDRESS AND SHOES.

SHARLENE:  Okay...we’re coming down.  Thank you for agreeing to this, but you...you do understand why I need confirmation.  Okay thank you I’ll see you in a bit.

SHARLENE PRESSES END CALL…

JOHN:  Confirmation?  You’re talking about Taylor aren’t you?
SHARLENE:  I won’t believe it until I see it...until we see it.
JOHN:  I have a meeting with the board in about an hour or so.
SHARLENE:  Do you...have time to come down to the station with me?

JOHN NODS HIS HEAD, WALKS UP TO HER, AND GENTLY PLACES HIS HANDS ON HER SHOULDERS.

JOHN:  If this is what you need, then I’ll be there for you.
SHARLENE:  Thank you.  She faked her death before and I just…
JOHN:  I know.  I understand but…
SHARLENE:  But what?
JOHN:  Suppose we get confirmation that Taylor is really dead, we still don’t know who tried to kill you, and if they’re gonna try again.

AT THE CENTER, MATT AND BRIANNA WALK ARM IN ARM SLOWLY AS PEOPLE PASS BY.
Matt Crane as Matt Cory

Wendy Moniz as Brianna Jameson

BRIANNA:  I was a bit surprised by the way that movie ended.
MATT:  I definitely didn’t see that coming.  The woman wasn’t who everyone thought she was.
BRIANNA:  She had everybody fooled.
MATT:  I wonder if they’re gonna come out with a sequel.  I wonder what the fallout would be from that kind of thing.
BRIANNA:  You know they don’t part twos of those.
MATT:  Maybe.

THEY SIT DOWN AT AN AVAILABLE TABLE.

BRIANNA:  I have to admit I...was skeptical of going to see a movie.  That doesn’t exactly elicit conversation during a date.
MATT:  Well it did didn’t it?
BRIANNA:  After we left the theatre.
MATT:  Yeah.  I’ll be more creative next time.
BRIANNA (smiling):  Next time huh?  So you’re saying there’s gonna be another date?
MATT:  Well I was...gonna wait to ask you at the end of this one.
BRIANNA:  What if I don’t want this date to be over yet?
MATT:  Now you’re talkin’.

MATT AND BRIANNA LEAN IN AND KISS EACH OTHER.

MATT:  Let’s...get outta here.
BRIANNA:  Now you’re talking.

THEY BOTH SMILE AND CONTINUE TO KISS.

----

AT THE LOVE MANSION, BRIDGET IS IN THE LIVING ROOM WHEN DONNA WALKS IN.
Lexi Ainsworth as Bridget McKinnon

Anna Stuart as Donna Love

DONNA:  Hi honey.
BRIDGET:  Grandma.
DONNA:  So...did you set up an appointment with Dr. Bingham?
BRIDGET:  No.
DONNA:  Well why not?
BRIDGET:  I don’t wanna talk to some shrink.  I’m not crazy.
DONNA:  Honey you have to talk to someone.  This feud between you and your sister has to stop.
BRIDGET:  When she stops I’ll stop.
DONNA (sighs):  Can anything go right in this family?
BRIDGET:  Ever since Michele came back home she’s been making my life miserable.  She’s tried to turn everyone against me.
DONNA:  Well you’ve done your fair share, too haven’t you?  You had sex with Cory Hutchins upstairs, and flaunted it to her.
BRIDGET:  She started all of this!
DONNA:  My God.  What are we going to do with you?
BRIDGET:  There’s nothing to be done.  I’m perfectly fine.  I’m tired of everyone telling me that I need help.  I’m not the crazy one.  Michele is!
DONNA:  You need to talk to someone.  Maybe...your Godmother.
BRIDGET:  Paulina?

----

AT GRANT’S, GRANT AND PAULINA ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONFRONTATION…
Mark Pinter as Grant Harrison

Judi Evans as Paulina Cory

PAULINA:  You what?
GRANT:  You heard me!
PAULINA:  So let me get this right.   You’re gonna blackmail me into marrying you?
GRANT:  Well...in time you’ll learn to love me again, like you did before.
PAULINA:  That was many moons ago Grant!  Why can’t you let it go?
GRANT:  Because we were robbed.  If it weren’t for Jake and Victoria, we may have had a life together.  Don’t you ever think about it?
PAULINA:  Yeah, and then I immediately head to the toilet to throw up!
GRANT:  Can you at least think about it?  You’d be saving Jack.
PAULINA:  I can’t believe you’re threatening to destroy his life.
GRANT:  It’s the only way I could get you to listen.  You still care about this man and he dumped you to go back to his wife!
PAULINA:  You blackmailed him into going back to Carly!  He would have been with me.  We made love the night of Carl’s party!  I should have known you had something to do with it when he didn’t show up!
GRANT:  I will give you twenty four hours to make a decision.
PAULINA:  What if I don’t marry you?
GRANT:  Then Jack won’t be able to get a job at a candy store.  It’s up to you.

CAMERA PAN ON GRANT...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

PART 2

AT THE POLICE STATION, JOHN, SHARLENE, AND DANTE WALK UP TO A DOOR WITH A SIGN ON IT THAT READS:  MORGUE.
John DeLuca as Dante Carlino

DANTE:  Are you ready?

JOHN RUBS SHARLENE’S SHOULDERS AS SHE TAKES A DEEP BREATH.

SHARLENE:  Yes.  Let’s go.

DANTE OPENS THE DOOR WITH A KEY.  HE WALKS IN WITH JOHN AND SHARLENE BEHIND HIM.  HE WALKS UP TO THE SLAB WITH A SIGN THAT READS:  TAYLOR BENSON.  DANTE LOOKS BACK AT JOHN AND SHARLENE.  SHARLENE NODS HER HEAD AS HE OPENS THE SLAB AND PULLS IT OUT.  IT HAS TAYLOR’S COLD, LIFELESS BODY ON IT.

JOHN:  It’s... her.
SHARLENE:  She’s...she’s really dead.

SHARLENE, CONFUSED, TURNS AROUND AND STEPS AWAY.

DANTE:  I’ll give you two a moment.

DANTE SLIDES TAYLOR’S BACK WHERE IT WAS, CLOSES THE SLAB, AND WALKS OUT.  JOHN WALKS UP BEHIND SHARLENE AND PLACES HIS HANDS ON HER SHOULDERS.

SHARLENE (sighs):  You were right all along.
JOHN:  I was hoping that I wouldn’t be.
SHARLENE:  You were right about everything.  If Taylor was as sick as they say she was, she couldn’t have tampered with the brakes on my car.
JOHN:  You had every reason to think that she was capable of getting someone to do it for her.
SHARLENE:  But it raises the question.  Since Taylor didn’t do it...who did?  Someone is out there trying to kill me.  Whoever it was almost killed Gregory.

JOHN TURNS SHARLENE AROUND AND LOOKS INTO HER EYES.

JOHN:  I’m gonna let anyone, or anything, happen to you or Gregory.
SHARLENE:  John we don’t even know who…
JOHN:  Don’t worry about it.  I’m going to protect my family.  I’ll die before I let anyone hurt you again.

----

IN A HOTEL ROOM, MATT AND BRIANNA ARE IN BED KISSING, THEN THEY TAKE A BREAK.

BRIANNA:  Why did you stop?
MATT:  Can I just look at your beautiful face?
BRIANNA:  Since you put it like that, look all you want.
MATT:  So how do you like Bay City so far?
BRIANNA:  It’s been...quite an experience.  I never expected this though.
MATT:  Expected what?
BRIANNA:  Just...this…you are...a wonderful guy.
MATT:  I know.  Don’t you forget it.

THEY KISS PASSIONATELY AND BEGIN TO HAVE SEX AGAIN.

----

BRIDGET:  That sounds like a good idea.
DONNA:  It might be, but she’s not a doctor, and you need to explore your issues.
BRIDGET:  OMG here we go.
DONNA:  You’re gonna hear me out!  We are all tired of you and Michele fighting.  She’s agreed to talk to Dr. Bingham.  She’s the one who’s getting help, and you’re not.  Do you know what that looks like?
BRIDGET:  It looks like Michele needs the help.
DONNA:  And she’s getting it, but you also need help.  For years you’ve been jealous of her.
BRIDGET:  Seriously?
DONNA:  Yes...seriously.  You need to call Dr. Bingham and set up an appointment.

BRIDGET TURNS AROUND FACING AWAY FROM DONNA, AND LOOKS SIDE TO SIDE, CONTEMPLATING THE SITUATION WITH MICHELE.

BRIDGET:  Wow.  This is what Michele wants.
DONNA:  What are you talking about?
BRIDGET:  Michele did this to make herself look like the saint.

BRIDGET TURNS BACK AROUND AND FACES DONNA.

BRIDGET:  She’s got you all fooled.
DONNA:  I’m very concerned that you are not taking responsibility for the things that you did.
BRIDGET:  Since Michele came back she has wanted to turn all of you against me, and it’s working.
DONNA GRABS BRIDGET BY HER SHOULDERS.

DONNA:  Your mother and Marley went through this almost twenty years ago after she was burned in a fire.  I’m not gonna stand by and watch you and your sister do the same thing to each other!
BRIDGET:  Well I’m not my mom or Aunt Marley.  You should be having this conversation with Michele!

BRIDGET WALKS PAST DONNA TO THE FRONT DOOR.

DONNA:  Where do you think you’re going?
BRIDGET:  Maybe I’ll go see dad.  At least he’s in my corner.

AT PAULINA’S, PAULINA IS PACING BACK AND FORTH AS JAKE SITS ON THE COUCH.
Tom Eplin as Jake McKinnon

JAKE:  You gotta sit down and think.
PAULINA:  I’m afraid of what I’m gonna think about.
JAKE:  We gotta come up with a plan.
PAULINA:  The only thing I wanna do is wring Grant’s neck!
JAKE:  Surely, there’s a better way to handle the situation.
PAULINA:  He’s absolutely crazy to think that I’m gonna marry him!
JAKE:  That’s kind of a given.
PAULINA:  I don’t know what Grant is thinking.
JAKE:  I think he’s living in 1991.
PAULINA:  I mean I...cared about Grant at one time, but it’s been over twenty five years.
JAKE:  He blackmailed Jack into leaving town.
PAULINA:  I just don’t know how he got evidence from when I sold my daughter on the black market.
JAKE:  Hmm the evidence.  You still care about Jack don’t you?
PAULINA:  I hate what he did, but I still don’t want Jack’s life to be destroyed.  He’s got two daughters.
JAKE:  You’ve gotta get that evidence.
PAULINA:  How?

JAKE FOLDS HIS ARMS AND STAYS SILENT.

PAULINA:  What are you thinking?

JAKE TURNS AROUND, FACES PAULINA, AND SIGHS.

PAULINA:  Jake?
JAKE:  Maybe...you need to…say yes.
PAULINA:  What the?   Are you saying I need to...go through with it?

JAKE TILTS HIS HEAD TO THE RIGHT AND GIVES A HALF SMILE.

JAKE:  You did catch the bouquet at Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding right?
PAULINA:  Absolutely not!!!  No way I’m marrying Grant!!!

  1. Grant has to black mail a woman into marriage. Shame I had to LOL when Paulina said she thought of being with Grant then she goes to the tiolet LOL!!!

I enoyed Matt and BRiannas date and the discussion about the movie it makes me wonder what movie they saw lol

Bridget still being hard headed. She really should go see DR. Bingham.

Donna is right this does make Bridget look bad. At least one of the girls are getting help.

Jake now wants Paulina to marry Grant to do what steal the evidence??

Matt and Brianna made love moving closer as couple. Both were horny though

    Stories keep moving.

SHarlene and John now has to find a new suspect which I suspect the path wil take them down to Bri. It's only a matter of time

  2. I love Jake and Paulina. You capture their relationship beautifully. You've also got Paulina's fire down pat. These scenes with Jake and Paulina and with grant and Paulina were both excellent. Grant thinks he's won, and for now he has. But Jake has a plan. They're gonna make like Lucas and Sami and steal that evidence and I cannot wait.

Sharlene now knows for sure Taylor did not physically tamper with her car, but she is in for a shock. What a smart story you've got here. It's an excellent set up as they peel back the layers and uncover the truths. I worry that John may have to take his vow to Sharlene seriously. His time may be coming soon if he doesn't tread lightly.

Bridget is being stubborn, and Donna's fears are very real. I hope Bridget sees the light before Michele really puts her on blast, but I fear it'll be far too late for that. Ahhh teenagers.

Brianna and Matt are connecting. I fe like even Brianna didn't expect this connection. The consequences will be dire when the truth comes out about what she's in town to do. Yikes!

You've got a great, focused episode here. Everything clicked, and each scene moved. Fantastic work!
