STACEY:  Well my flight doesn’t leave for another three hours.
LINDSAY:  Mom do you have to go?
STACEY:  Yesss honey.  I have a job waiting.
LINDSAY:  I know I know I just wish that you didn’t have to go.  I need you here.
STACEY:  I’ll be a flight and just a phone call away.
LINDSAY:  It’s not that simple.
STACEY:  We can video chat right?
LINDSAY:  It’s not the same mom.  You just went for this job.  You didn’t even say anything to me about it.
STACEY:  I’m sorry but I didn’t know I had to check in with you about my life choices.
LINDSAY:  I’m sorry...I’m...I’m just gonna miss you.  It’s not gonna be the same here without you.

STACEY’S EYES START TO WELL UP…

STACEY:  Oh honey.  Every time I look at you I...remember holding you.  You weren’t...you weren’t breathing.  Derek was there with me at the hospital.  The doctors took you to the NICU.  I thought to myself how much I went through just to have you.  I...I couldn’t bear the thought of losing you.  They...the doctors...told me you had pneumonia and respiratory problems.  I begged them...I yelled at them to give you whatever they needed to give you to get you well.  You recovered, and now look at you....all grown up.   You’re a physical therapist.  You have Gregory.  You don’t need me anymore.  You’ve gotten close to your cousin Charlie.  Cass and Frankie are here for you.

STACEY PUTS HER RIGHT HAND ON LINDSAY’S LEFT CHEEK.

STACEY:  I thought I couldn’t have children.  You’re my miracle baby.   I’m always gonna be there for you.

LINDSAY IS NOW GETTING TEARY EYED.

LINDSAY:  Oh mom.

MICHAEL RUNS UP TO THEM TRYING TO CATCH HIS BREATH.

Kale Browne as Michael Hudson

RICK:  I’m sorry but aren’t you out of your jurisdiction?

DANTE GIVES RICK A PAPER AND SHOWS HIM A PICTURE OF FELICIA IN HIS PHONE.

DANTE:  A signed affidavit from Frank Cooper.  He told me I should come here and talk to you.  This woman may be a hit and run driver.
RICK (looking over the affidavit):  Oh okay.  Guess I can tell you.  I did treat her for a concussion.
DANTE:  Her name is Felicia Gallant Blake.
RICK:  Really?  She’s the romance novelist right?
DANTE:  Yeah.
RICK:  Her husband brought her in.  He said her name was Ember Snow.

Billy Flynn as Devin Lucas Hutchins

FELICIA:  I don’t care what you say.  I’m turning myself in to the police.
MITCH:  Felicia, honey, sit down.  You can’t do that.
DEVIN:  Mitch is right.  You gotta think about the ramifications of you getting a DUI, hit and run, and vehicular homicide on your record.
FELICIA:  I can’t hide forever.  It’s the right thing to do.
MITCH:  That sounds great in theory, but you might destroy everything you’ve worked for your entire life.
FELICIA:  Then you two tried to hide the evidence.  I certainly can’t drag you two into this.
MITCH:  Don’t worry.  I’ve come up with a plan.  We’re going to protect you.
DEVIN:  Hey uh...I gotta get outta here.  Just call me if you need anything.
MITCH:  Where ya headed?
DEVIN:  The Love Mansion.
FELICIA:  What’s going on over there?
DEVIN:  My first step in building my new club.
MITCH:  Wow congratulations.
DEVIN:  Yep.  All Donna has to do is sign and I can start construction.

AT THE LOVE MANSION, DONNA SITS ON THE COUCH AS SHE FLASHES BACK TO HER CONVERSATION WITH MICHAEL…
Anna Stuart as Donna Love

(EPISODE 255)

DONNA:  I think...that’s mutual.  You want to be with Stacey, and I’m not fighting this fight anymore.
MICHAEL:  Are you saying you don’t love me anymore?
DONNA:  I’m always going to love you Michael.  You’re the father of my girls, but I can’t continue like this.  Wondering if you...if you’re in love with Stacey.  After what Victoria just told me it...it’s clear that I can’t be involved with you romantically anymore.  If this was say, twenty years ago, I probably would have fought harder, but I just don’t have the energy now.  If you want to be with Stacey, go.
MICHAEL:  Donna.

DONNA DOES NOT REPLY AND TURNS HER BACK TO MICHAEL, WHO WALKS OUT THE FRONT DOOR.  DONNA’S EYES START TO WELL UP.  SHE PLOPS ON THE COUCH AND STARTS TO CRY.

SOMEONE RINGS THE DOORBELL AS DONNA FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT.  SHE WIPES HER EYES AS SHE WALKS TO THE DOOR.

DONNA:  Michael?

SHE OPENS THE DOOR AND TYRONE WALKS IN, AND THE DOOR IS LEFT OPEN AS THE TWO STAND IN THE FOYER.
Henry Simmons as Tyrone Montgomery

DONNA:  Tyrone?  What’s going on?  Is everything okay?

TYRONE GETS A NOTIFICATION ON HIS CELL PHONE, AND HE SHOWS DONNA.

DONNA:  What?  An Amber Alert?  Tyrone what is going on?  Did Marley?  Oh my God.  This day just gets better and better.
-----

IN A MOTEL ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF BAY CITY, MARLEY IS SITTING ON A BED WITH ROMAN RIGHT NEXT TO HER.  SHE TAKES A DEEP BREATH, REACHES INTO HER PURSE AND PULLS OUT A DARK COLORED, LONG HAIRED WIG.  SHE STRADDLES HER SON’S HAIR…
Ellen Wheeler as Marley Hudson Montgomery

MARLEY:  Nobody is gonna take you away from me...ever.

CAMERA PAN ON MARLEY...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

PART 2

AT THE AIRPORT, MICHAEL HAS CAUGHT UP TO STACEY WITH LINDSAY BY HER SIDE.  LINDSAY LOOKS BACK AND FORTH AT MICHAEL AND STACEY.

LINDSAY:  I’m...gonna go get coffee.

LINDSAY WALKS AWAY LEAVING MICHAEL AND STACEY ALONE.

STACEY:  What do you want Michael?
MICHAEL:  Donna and I broke up.
STACEY:  So you come running to me?
MICHAEL:  Donna helped me to realize something.
STACEY:  Michael....
MICHAEL:  That I love you.
STACEY:  You don’t understand.  We can’t do this.

MICHAEL MOVES CLOSER TO STACEY UNTIL THEY ARE FACE TO FACE.

MICHAEL:  Come on.  You mean to tell me that...you don’t have any feelings for me?

STACEY CLOSES HER EYES AND TAKES A DEEP BREATH.

MICHAEL:  Life is too short to hide these types of things Stace.  I know you love me, too.

STACEY OPENS HER EYES AND LOOKS MICHAEL IN HIS EYES.

STACEY:  Yes Michael I...I do.  I love you, too, but we can’t be together.  I can’t be with you.
MICHAEL:  If you’re worried about Donna and Victoria…
STACEY:  I’m moving on with my life Michael.  I’m going to Los Angeles.
MICHAEL:  And I wanna go with you.  Let’s start a new life together.
STACEY: I’m gonna have a chance at partner in this firm and I’m going to be focused squarely on that.
MICHAEL:  So you’re saying I’d be...a distraction?
STACEY:  Michael that’s not what I’m saying at all.
MICHAEL:  That’s what it sounds like.
STACEY:  I have feelings for you, but we can’t do a relationship.

LINDSAY WALKS UP TO THEM WITH TWO CUPS OF COFFEE, AND GIVES ONE TO STACEY.

LINDSAY:  Latte for you.  Everything okay here?
STACEY:  Michael was just leaving.
LINDSAY:  Oh.
MICHAEL:  So this is good-bye?
STACEY:  Yes.

MICHAEL, STUNNED, BACKS AWAY, AND TURNS TO WALK AWAY.

LINDSAY:  Mom are you alright?

STACEY TAKES ANOTHER DEEP BREATH.

STACEY:  You were right baby.  I do have feelings for him, but sometimes...things just aren’t meant to be.

---

AT THE POLICE STATION, DANTE WALKS INTO TONI’S OFFICE...
Rhonda Ross Kendrick as Toni Burrell

TONI:  What did you find?
DANTE:  Felicia was admitted to Cedars’ Hospital in Springfield...under Ember Snow.
TONI:  One of her books.
DANTE:  She’s our hit and run driver.
TONI: Woe woe woe not so fast young detective. That still doesn't mean that Felicia was the driver.

---

FELICIA:  How can you say that?
MITCH:  You have to think about this rationally.
FELICIA:  They’re going to find out that I was the one who caused the accident.
MITCH:  They’re not going to find out.  You’re not gonna take the rap for this.
FELICIA:  I did it.  I should pay.
MITCH:  Stop it.  You’re feeling sorry for yourself and I’m not gonna let you go to jail out of pity.
FELICIA:  I’m going to do what’s right.  I killed Christy’s baby.
MITCH:  Let me protect you...please.
FELICIA:  Well I can’t just sit in this house.
MITCH:  Exactly.  Devin and I have arranged for you to leave the country.

---

TYRONE:  I’m gonna go find her.
DONNA:  How are you going to do that?
TYRONE:  I have a find my phone app.  It’ll pinpoint her location.
DONNA:  Maybe I should come with you?
TYRONE:  No.  I think you should stay here in case she calls your landline.
DONNA:  Yeah yeah you’re right.  Good idea.
TYRONE:  You’ve been crying.
DONNA:  Yeah...Michael and I...we’re over.  He went to be with Stacey.

MICHAEL WALKS IN.

MICHAEL:  Tyrone hey.  What’s going on?
DONNA:  Marley and the baby are missing.
MICHAEL:  What?  Where are they?  What happened?
TYRONE:  I came home and all the baby’s things were gone.  Marley was, too.
MICHAEL:  That damned Reginald.  Your father’s never gonna leave us alone!
DONNA:  I don’t think daddy kidnapped them.  Marley’s been acting strange with the baby since they were released from the hospital.
MICHAEL:  Because Reginald tried to have the baby kidnapped!

TYRONE GETS AN ALERT ON HIS PHONE.

TYRONE:  It’s her.
DONNA:  Marley?
TYRONE:  I know where she is.  I’m gonna go get her and the baby.
DONNA:  How do you know?
TYRONE:  Find my cell app.  Pinpoints the exact location of her phone.
MICHAEL:  I’m gonna come with you.
DONNA:  Please bring them home.
TYRONE:  We are.

TYRONE AND MICHAEL LEAVE THE HOUSE AND DONNA FOLDS HER ARMS.

  1. I just can't wait till the next episode! The suspence is building in just about every story!

I am loving this current storyline for Felicia. I love how you are playing the emotions from every angle. Felicia feels enmorous amounts of guilt for killing Christy's baby and almost killing 2 other people. Mitch and Devin just want to protect Felicia and look out for her best interest. I am also nervous for Felicia because Mitch came up with that plan to get her out of the country. That doesn't seem like the right choice. By the way, I did like the nice surprise cameo of Rick during the investigation scenes in this episode. I can't wait to see how the truth will be revealed!

One of my favorite stories is the Donna/Michael/Stacey triangle. It has been playing out for so long and I've enjoyed every bit of it! I love that Michael is getting left in the dust by both of these women. He has treated Donna in a terrible manner. However, Michael will always be Donna's true love. Therefore, I don't think they'll stay away from one another for long. I also like how you showed a mature side to Stacey. Her saying 'no' to Michael was very adult of her. I'm glad that you have shown that Stacey has grown as a woman. Speaking of Stacey, I loved her and Lindsay's goodbye moment.

Now, we get to Marley. I love how her craziness didn't come out of the blue. It is so natuaral and well written. I can't wait to see how this story is going to climax. And, I can't wait to see the scenes between her, Tyrone, and Michael. I can already tell I am going to need some tissues.

Great work! Can't wait for #257!!

  2. Great balance here. I enjoyed the suspense and action, as well as the romance and tension. All around a good show.

Stacey saying goodbye to Michael and Lindsay was touching once again. I feel like there's a lot more possible between Michael and Stacey, but Stacey knows it's time to move on. Donna is playing strong for now, but I doubt she'll be able to cut Michael out of her life forever.

Tyrone figured out where Marley's cell phone was, but is it really where Marley is? This story is getting more and more exciting. Another great beat in this episode.

Felicia's trying so hard to do the right thing, but Mitch and Devin really want to protect her, understandably. Christy's plan backfired, and really, Felicia is only loosely to blame for the way things turned out, but it'll be next to impossible to prove. I wonder where they'll be sending Felicia...and if she'll even be willing to go. Great scenes again there.

Meanwhile Dante is eager to get Felicia locked up. He knows what's up...but not everything. Toni is wise to get him to slow down before he jumps the gun.

Very balanced episode, again. I really enjoyed it.

  3. What I liked about this episode was that it has a sord of see saw effect, WHat I thought was going to happen didnt and the story took a diff turn.

THe amber alert makes this story very serious. Marley is alone in her own thoughts she thinks shes protecting roman. BUt this is Tyrone's child do. Marley has ofically cloked out again. Im very worried for her future.

Donna actually does care for Micheal. Micheal keeps getting rejected. I thought for sure he and stacy would leave together. But nope it took a twist and he showed back up at the love house.

Fefe will bring Mitch and Devin down along with her if she turns herself in and this will ruin her career. Toni isn't so sure though. Dante is.

Poor Poor Marley who has gone off the deep end again and Poor Felicia stuck between a rock and a hard place. These are very serious charges she's facing. Maybe even jail time!
