AT THE POLICE STATION, TONI IS OUTSIDE THE INTERROGATION ROOM WITH MITCH AND DEVIN.

MITCH: The D.A. wants to press charges against her?
TONI: They said the evidence was circumstantial.
DEVIN: So then my grandmother should be freed.
TONI: We have to wait...until Christy Carson shows up.
MITCH: I’m not...sure what good that would do. I mean Christy’s going through enough pain losing her child and going through that accident. You’re gonna have her relive all of that again.
TONI: I have to explore that avenue.
DEVIN: Come on Toni, you know the good Felicia has done, and everything she’s meant to Bay City. She made a huge mistake, that’s all.
TONI: The only way the D.A. will bring up charges is if Christy presses them.
TONI WALKS INTO THE INTERROGATION ROOM WHERE CASS IS STANDING ACROSS FROM FELICIA, WITH THE TABLE BETWEEN THEM.

CASS: My client is obviously emotional and not thinking clearly. Give her some time to think about it before she signs a confession.
TONI (shutting the door): It doesn’t look like that’s gonna matter.
FELICIA: What...what are you talking about?
TONI: The D.A.’s office is not going to bring up charges. They said the evidence was circumstantial at best.
CASS: So if they’re not pursuing the case then my client can go.
TONI: Not so fast. Christy Carson is on her way down here.
CASS: If...she presses charges then the DA is gonna file the case? Is that it?
TONI: Correct.

SOMEONE OPENS THE DOOR. CASS, FELICIA, AND TONI ALL LOOK AT CHRISTY.

AT ALLEN’S SUITE, AMANDA INSERTS HER KEY,
WALKS IN, AND PLACES HER BRIEFCASE ON THE NEARBY DESK. SHE TAKES OFF HER BROWN SPORTCOAT AND LAYS IT ON THE BED. SHE ALSO SITS ON THE BED, TAKES OFF HER HEELS, AND RUBS HER FEET MOMENTARILY. SHE GOES BACK TO THE DESK AND OPENS HER BRIEFCASE. SHE TAKES OUT A SET OF DOCUMENTS WITH A CORY PRODUCTIONS LETTERHEAD ON THE COVER PAGE. SHE LOOKS AT THEM, AND TAKES A DEEP BREATH, CLOSES THE BRIEFCASE, AND PLACES THEM ON TOP OF THE BRIEFCASE. SHE THEN GOES TO THE RESTROOM. ALLEN WALKS IN THE DOOR. HE LOOKS AROUND AND SEES AMANDA’S SPORTCOAT ON THE BED, AND HER HIGH HEELED SHOES ON THE FLOOR, THEN HE LOOKS TO HIS RIGHT AND SEES A DOCUMENT ON TOP OF HER BRIEFCASE. HE THEN HAS A FLASHBACK…

ALLEN: Why are you asking about Amanda all of a sudden? No...you want me to betray her don’t you?
IRIS: I didn’t say that but…
ALLEN: Oh I’m not doing this again. You want me to steal secrets from her to give to you.
IRIS STRAIGHTENS HERSELF UP AT HER DESK, FOLDS HER HANDS, AND PLACES THEM ON THE DESK.
IRIS: Allen you are one of my prized employees here at KBAY, and there’s a lot of upward mobility where you’re concerned. This could really...bolster your career.
THEN HE HAS ANOTHER FLASHBACK..

ALLEN (reading the text): BAY CITY UNIVERSITY? Installment amount $2000 past due? Total bill $20,000.
ALLEN FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT, LOOKS AT THE BATHROOM DOOR, AND WALKS OVER TO THE BRIEFCASE. BEFORE HE PICKS UP THE DOCUMENT, HE NOTICES AN INCOMING CALL ON HIS CELL PHONE. HE ANSWERS IT, BUT SPEAKS IN A LOW VOICE.
ALLEN: Tyrone? What’s up? Everybody’s worried about you. Where you at man? Did you find Marley?

ON THE TROPICAL ISLAND OF TANQUIR, TYRONE IS IN A COMPOUND STANDING UNDERNEATH A CEILING FAN.
TYRONE: I can’t tell you where I am right now bro. I’m okay, and yeah...she’s here. I gotta go.
TYRONE PRESSES END CALL ON HIS CELL PHONE, PUTS IT IN HIS POCKET AS CECILE WALKS IN.

CECILE: I told you he wasn’t going to be a problem.
TYRONE SEES MARLEY HOLDING THE BABY...AND REGINALD, LYING IN A HOSPITAL BED, SLEEPING, HOOKED UP TO TUBES.

ALLEN WALKS OVER TO AMANDA’S BRIEFCASE, PICKS UP THE DOCUMENT, AND FLIPS TO THE SECOND PAGE, AND OPENS HIS MOUTH IN SHOCK.
ALLEN: Oh my God.
AMANDA SUDDENLY APPEARS BEHIND HIM AT THE BATHROOM DOOR.
AMANDA: What the hell do you think you’re doing?
ALLEN: You...you guys really gonna do that?
AMANDA (snatching the document back): Yeah it’s happening, but what were you looking for? You...no...no that can’t be.
ALLEN: Amanda please let me explain…
AMANDA: You were looking for something to take back to Iris. I mean you do work for her don’t you?
ALLEN WALKS TO THE DOOR HOLDING HIS HEAD WITH HIS HANDS, THEN HE FACES AMANDA.
ALLEN: I’m doing...what I have to do for my family.
AMANDA: Are you talking about KC? She’s your daughter. Family? Wow. Are you talking about Toni, too? This is getting better.
ALLEN: Amanda look...this has nothing to do with how I feel about you.
AMANDA: It has everything to do with how you feel about me! You obviously feel nothing but contempt for me. What did I do to you? What did I do to deserve this?
ALLEN: Nothing. Babe it’s not…
AMANDA GRABS HER SPORTCOAT AND SLIPS HER HIGH HEELED SHOES BACK ON. SHE PLACES THE DOCUMENT IN HER BRIEFCASE, LOCKS IT, PICKS IT UP AND WALKS TO THE DOOR.
ALLEN: Amanda you can’t leave. Let’s talk about this.
AMANDA: I can’t even look at you. I should have seen this coming. All the time you’ve been spending with Toni.
ALLEN: The only thing I talk about with Toni is our daughter.
AMANDA: The night we were supposed to have dinner at Tops. I got called away, and you went straight to Toni. I saw you two at the Center. How could I be so stupid.
ALLEN: And that’s my fault that you called away for work? Seems like your daddy’s company is the most important thing to you.
AMANDA: Don’t you turn this around on me!
ALLEN: Of course it is Amanda. Cory Productions is, and has always been, the most important thing in your life. I better just stay in my lane right?
AMANDA: Don’t you dare talk about Mac like he was nothing!
ALLEN: I’m not trying to, but you have put work before us.
AMANDA: This is getting us nowhere. I’m leaving.
ALLEN: Where are you going? This is just a big misunderstanding. Can’t we work through it?
AMANDA: I don’t know. It may, until the next time you wanna go be with Toni.
ALLEN: I’m not having an affair with her if that’s what you’re implying.
AMANDA: Maybe not in the physical sense, but that’s coming.
ALLEN: What are you talking about? I have no intentions or plans to sleep with her.
AMANDA: Face the truth Allen! You’re falling in love with Toni all over again, aren’t you? And the idea of you, her and KC being one big happy family is appealing to you, isn’t it? So much so that you would betray me like this.
ALLEN DOESN’T ANSWER. AMANDA’S EYES WELL UP AS SHE SHAKES HER HEAD.
ALLEN: I’m sorry.
AMANDA: I’m going to spend time with my mother.
AMANDA LEAVES, AND ALLEN IS DUMBFOUNDED BECAUSE HE WONDERS IF AMANDA IS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS FEELINGS FOR TONI.

AT THE POLICE STATION, TONI, CASS AND FELICIA FACE CHRISTY IN THE INTERROGATION ROOM. THERE IS AN AWKWARD SILENCE, BUT TONI BREAKS IT.
TONI: Um...Christy...I will need to see you in my office.
CHRISTY IS LOOKING DIRECTLY AT FELICIA.
CHRISTY: So you...found the hit and run driver? You found the person who killed my baby?
TONI: Yes we did.
FELICIA: Christy I’m...I’m so sorry. It was...a terrible accident.
CHRISTY LOOKS OVER AT CASS.
CHRISTY: Cass? She killed our baby, and you’re representing her in this case?
CASS: She’s my best friend.
CHRISTY: I see how much you cared about our child.
TONI: Christy we...need to get to my office, and fill out paperwork.
CHRISTY LOOKS BACK AT TONI.
CHRISTY: For what?
CASS: I also need to know, too, so I can represent my client.
TONI: The DA’s office is only going to pursue a case against Felicia if you decide to press charges.
CHRISTY: What...would the charges be?
TONI: Driving under the influence….
CHRISTY: She was drunk?
TONI: Leaving the scene of an accident and vehicular homicide.
CHRISTY (sighs): I...I see that...Felicia has suffered enough.
CASS: What?
CHRISTY: Look at her. She’s obviously remorseful and...sorry for what she’s done. I don’t...see the need to add to that.
TONI: Christy, are you saying what I think you’re saying?
CHRISTY LOOKS DIRECTLY AT FELICIA.
CHRISTY: I’m not pressing charges against her or anyone else. I’m sure she’s...learned from her mistake.
TONI: Are you kidding me?
CHRISTY: What satisfaction do I get from Felicia being in jail? None of this is gonna bring my baby back.
TONI SIGHS IN FRUSTRATION.
TONI: Well Felicia I guess you’re free to go.

TYRONE IS SHOCKED AT WHAT HE SEES…
CECILE: I’ll give you two a moment alone.
CECILE LEAVES…
TYRONE: Marley what? What is this?
MARLEY: Cecile told me that...Reginald wanted to see the baby...one last time.
TYRONE: Why would you do that? Why would take him from us? From me?
MARLEY: Because everyone thinks they know what’s best for me. Donna, Victoria, you? You’re all trying to take my baby away from me.
TYRONE: Why the hell would you ever think that I would keep our baby from his mother? You were paranoid about Reginald kidnapping him, and then you come straight to him. It makes no sense.
MARLEY: Cecile called and told me that Reginald would no longer be a threat to Roman, or anyone else in the family. He’s been very sick. Apparently he was bitten by a bug here, and they haven’t been able to slow down the infection.
TYRONE: I don’t put nothing past him. He survived a fall from a clock tower.
THEY BOTH TURN AND LOOK AT REGINALD.
MARLEY: I don’t think he’s gonna get through this one. It’s real bad.
TYRONE: Can I hold my son?
MARLEY: Of course.
MARLEY GIVES ROMAN TO TYRONE.
TYRONE: Hey kid. Daddy missed you. I’m here now.
SUDDENLY, THEY HEAR A COUGH, BECAUSE REGINALD IS WAKING UP, AND THEY FACE HIM.
REGINALD: Did you...did you really think you’d get rid of me that easily?
