• Frankie obtained an estate record of Taylor Benson leaving everything to her daughter, Ellen.  Frankie and John put two and two together and learned that Brianna Jameson is Ellen Benson, and came to Bay City to avenge Taylor's death
• Matt and Brianna have gotten romantically involved.  Brianna has convinced Matt to leave Bay City with her.  Rachel is against it.

JOY WALKS OUT OF MAURICE’S OFFICE AND STEVEN COMES UP BEHIND HER.  JOY JUMPS.

JOY:  Whoa!  You startled me.
STEVEN:  What’s going on?  You came to see Dr. Bingham.  What were you doing in there?
JOY:  Well I was…doing some research for some counseling. 
STEVEN:  Does this have to do with your mom?
JOY:  Yes.
STEVEN:  I’d counsel but you know that would be huge conflict of interest.  Why didn’t you tell me?  I could’ve recommended someone.
JOY:  You’ve got enough going on with your family.  I didn’t want to burden you.
 
STEVEN PLACES HIS HANDS ON JOY’S SHOULDERS AND LOOKS HER IN THE EYES.
 
STEVEN:  Don’t ever say that.  You’re the woman I’m gonna marry.  You can come to me with anything.
JOY:  I don’t deserve that.
STEVEN:  Yes you do.  I fall in love with you more and more each day.

 
JOY SMILES NERVOUSLY.
 
JOY:  Same here.
STEVEN:  Look I won’t interfere.  Dr. Bingham is an excellent psychiatrist.
JOY:  So I’ve heard.
STEVEN:  You can’t go wrong if you decide to see him.
 
JOY SMILES PENSIVELY.

AT THE HOSPITAL, CHARLIE, DRESSED IN A HOSPITAL GOWN, IS LYING ON A GURNEY WITH HER BACK PROPPED UP.  KIRKLAND WALKS IN AS THE TECHNOLOGIST PICKS UP A TUBE OF GEL.

KIRKLAND:  Did I miss anything?

TECHNOLOGIST:  No your wife didn’t want to start without you.

CHARLIE:  I wanted us to see the baby together.

TECHNOLOGIST:  Alright let’s get started.
 
THE TECHNOLOGIST TURNS ON THE MONITOR AND RUBS THE GEL ON CHARLIE’S STOMACH, AS KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE HOLD HANDS.

JOHN IS WITH FRANKIE AT THE FARM.

JOHN:  Ellen Benson.  Taylor never ever talked about having a child.
FRANKIE:  She was clever.  The crafty, methodical way she went about trying to destroy you and Sharlene. 
JOHN:  She tried to make it look like Sharlene was crazy.
FRANKIE:  Then she faked her death.  I’ll never forget the smug look on her face when Cass and I confronted her.
JOHN:  And not once, through all of our dealings, not once did she mention having a daughter.  What kind of mother does that?
FRANKIE:  An evil one like her. 
JOHN:  I knew Brianna had a connection to Taylor.  I wondered why she was asking me questions about her. 
FRANKIE:  That must have been what Christy had on her.
JOHN:  Christy?  You mean the woman who tried to make Felicia kill herself?
FRANKIE:  She’s the one. 
JOHN:  So Christy knew all along that Brianna was Taylor’s daughter, and she would do…
 
JOHN SLOWLY WALKS TO THE DOOR THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING.
 
JOHN:  That’s it.  It was Brianna.

MATT IS IN HIS OFFICE WITH EMPTY BOXES.  HE LOOKS AROUND TO SEE WHAT HE IS GOING TO PACK FIRST.  AS HE PUTS ONE OF THE EMPTY BOXES ON HIS DESK, JASMINE WALKS IN.

MATT:  Hey you.
JASMINE:  Dad.  Looks like you’re about to pack up your things?  Are you leaving?
MATT:  You could say that.
JASMINE:  I can’t imagine how grandma’s feeling about it.
MATT:  I think you actually can.
JASMINE:  She must be thrilled.
MATT:  Quite the opposite.
JASMINE:  You had to expect that.  I mean you’re leaving Baycorp.
MATT:  I’m not leaving Baycorp at all.
JASMINE:  Then you’re…
MATT:  I’m gonna work remotely.
 
MATT GOES TO HIS SHELF, GRABS TWO BOOKS, WALKS TO HIS DESK AND PLACES THE BOOKS INSIDE THE BOX.
 
JASMINE:  Remotely?  So you’re leaving Bay City.
MATT:  Yep.
JASMINE:  You can’t do that!

JASMINE:  Dad you can’t do that!
MATT:  Jazz I can do what I want.  I’m a grown man.
JASMINE:  I know that dad but I…I just got here.  We haven’t even hung out yet.
MATT:  That’s because you’ve been tagging along with your mom.
JASMINE:  You’ve been so busy.  You’re always working.  And you got a new girlfriend.  Wait…is she the reason you’re leaving?
MATT:  We’re leaving together.
JASMINE:  I haven’t met her yet.
MATT:  It just kind of…happened.  We decided we’re gonna move away.
JASMINE:  And did you think about how it would affect your loved ones?
 
MATT GOES TO FILE CABINET, TAKES OUT TWO FOLDERS, AND PLACES THEM IN ANOTHER BOX.
 
MATT:  Jazz I can always send for you if you want to come see us.
JASMINE:  That’s not the point.  You’re not gonna be here in town.  I came back to see all of you.
MATT:  Sure ya did.
JASMINE:  Don’t be like that dad.  I came to see my grandparents and my dad, and now you’re leaving.
MATT:  Come on you act as though I’m moving halfway across the world.  I’m only a short plane ride away.
JASMINE:  Where are you guys going?
MATT:  Um…I don’t know yet.
JASMINE:  You’re leaving town and you don’t know where you’re going?  That doesn’t make sense.
MATT:  We’re going wherever we land.
JASMINE:  Sounds to me that it’s gonna crash.
MATT:  Don’t say that baby.  I love this woman.
JASMINE:  You love her but none of us have ever met her.
MATT:  When you’re in love you just know.  You’ll learn that soon.  In time you will meet her, and I think you’ll like her.
JASMINE:  What’s her name?
MATT:  Brianna. 
JASMINE:  At least I know that much.
 
MATT PUTS THE TOP ON THE BOX AND WALKS UP TO JASMINE.
 
MATT:  You’re always gonna be the most important girl in my life.
JASMINE:  That’s what you tell all the girls.
MATT:  I only have one daughter.
 
JASMINE SMILES.
 
MATT:  And SHE takes priority over everyone else.
JASMINE:  Why are you talking about me in third person?
MATT:  Come here you.
 
MATT PULLS JASMINE INTO A HUG, AND THEN THEY SEPARATE.
 
MATT:  You are always welcome to come see me…anytime.  Or, if you’re staying here, I’ll come see you.
JASMINE:  I don’t want you to go but, if this is really what you want, then I support you.  On that note, I have to leave. 
MATT:  Where are you headed?
JASMINE:  Going to see grandpa.
MATT:  I have to call him.
JASMINE:  See ya later.
 
JASMINE GETS THE DOOR.
 
MATT:  Jazz…I love you.
JASMINE:  I love you, too.

CHARLIE AND KIRKLAND LOOK AT THE MONITOR OF THE ULTRASOUND AS THE TECH POINTS TO SOMETHING.
 
TECH:  See that?  Wanna guess what it is?
KIRKLAND:  Is that the heartbeat?
TECH:  Sure is. 
 
CHARLIE LOOKS UP AT KIRKLAND.
CHARLIE:  That’s…our baby.
 
CHARLIE LOOKS BACK AT THE MONITOR.
 
TECH:  And your baby is strong.
KIRKLAND:  It’s getting real isn’t it?
CHARLIE:  Yep.  We’re going to be parents.
TECH:  I can tell you the baby’s gender.
 
KIRKLAND LOOKS BACK DOWN AT CHARLIE.
 
KIRKLAND:  Do you…wanna know?
CHARLIE:  Um…sure.  What are we having?
TECH:  From what I see here, it looks like you’re having a boy. 
KIRKLAND:  That’s great news.
CHARLIE:  Yes it is.
TECH:  Have you guys decided on names yet?
KIRKLAND:  We were discussing that a few weeks ago as a matter of fact.
CHARLIE:  And we couldn’t agree on anything.
KIRKLAND:  Since we’re having a boy, I think I’ve got the perfect name.
CHARLIE:  I wonder if we’re thinking of the same name.
 
KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE LOOK AT EACH OTHER AND SMILE.
 
KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE (at the same time):  Ryan.
 
MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE THE ROOM, SOMEONE DRESSED IN SCRUBS AND A MASK, GENTLY PUSHES THE DOOR, AND WATCHES KIRKLAND, CHARLIE, AND THE ULTRASOUND TECH, WHO ARE ALL LOOKING AT THE MONITOR.  VICKY WALKS UP BEHIND THE PERSON.
 
VICKY:  What are you doing?
 
THE PERSON TURNS AROUND AND FACES VICKY, BUT THEY HAVE A MASK COVERING THEIR MOUTH AND NOSE, SO VICKY CAN’T SEE WHO IT IS.

FRANKIE:  What else did she do?
JOHN:  Someone broke into my doctor portal and authorized a prescription for Felicia. 
FRANKIE:  Was it flurazepam?
JOHN:  Yes. 
FRANKIE:  So it all makes sense.   Christy forced Brianna to get a prescription written in Felicia’s name so she could cover her tracks.
JOHN:  My career is on the line because of this.
FRANKIE:  That’s why we have to stop her. 
 
JOHN TAKES HIS CELL PHONE AND MAKES A CALL.
 
JOHN:  Hey I gotta talk to you this is…what?  I’ll be right there.
 
JOHN PRESSES END CALL AND PUTS THE PHONE BACK IN HIS POCKET.
 
FRANKIE:  What happened?  Was that Sharlene?
JOHN:  She’s at the hospital.
FRANKIE:  Is everything alright?
JOHN:  Gregory’s been hurt.
 
SLOW FADE OUT.  END OF PART 2

CONCLUSION
 
VICKY CONFRONTS A MYSTERY PERSON WHO WAS WATCHING KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE DURING THEIR ULTRASOUND.  THIS PERSON IS DRESSED IN SCRUBS AND A MASK THAT COVERS THEIR MOUTH AND NOSE.
 
VICKY:  I asked you a question.  My son and my daughter in law are having an ultrasound why are you watching them?
 
STEVEN AND JOY WALK UP TO VICKY.
 
STEVEN:  Mom.  What’s going on?
 
VICKY TURNS AROUND AND FACES STEVEN AND JOY.
 
VICKY:  Steven.  I saw someone looking inside of that room. 
STEVEN:  Maybe it was a doctor.
VICKY:  It just seemed weird that they were just looking inside.
JOY:  Steven’s right.  It may be a hospital worker.
VICKY:  I wasn’t talking to you!
STEVEN:  Take care mom.
 
STEVEN AND JOY LEAVE.  VICKY TURNS BACK AROUND AND THE PERSON IS GONE.  KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE WALK UP TO VICKY.
 
KIRKLAND:  Hey mom.
CHARLIE:  Hi Vicky.
VICKY:  Hey soooo how’s the baby?
CHARLIE:  Healthy. 
VICKY:  Did they tell you the gender or did you decide to wait to find out?
CHARLIE:  No they told us.
KIRKLAND:  We’re having a boy.
VICKY:  A boy.  Oh.
CHARLIE:  And we agreed on a name.
VICKY:  That was fast.
KIRKLAND:  Don’t you wanna know what we’re gonna name our son?
VICKY:  Don’t keep me in suspense.
CHARLIE:  After someone you loved very much.  My mother adored him, too.
VICKY:  Someone I loved and your mother adored…
 
VICKY COVERS HER MOUTH WITH BOTH HANDS IN AMAZEMENT AND PUTS HER HANDS DOWN AS HER EYES WELL UP WITH TEARS.
 
VICKY:  Oh my God.  You’re gonna name him after Ryan?  That’s amazing!
