AT THE POLICE STATION, FELICIA, CASS and TONI ARE IN AN INTERROGATION ROOM. FELICIA IS SITTING AT A TABLE WITH THE WALL BEHIND HER. CASS AND TONI ARE STANDING AT THE DOOR OPPOSITE FELICIA. SHE STANDS UP…

TONI LOOKS AT FELICIA, AND LOOKS BACK AT CASS.
TONI: We have reason to believe that your client caused that accident on Route 17.
CASS: If you’re not going to charge her, then you need to let her go.
FELICIA STANDS UP.
FELICIA: Stop it! No more trouble!
CASS: Felicia don’t say anything…
FELICIA: I am responsible.
TONI: Felicia, is this a confession?

TONI FIXES HER EYES ON FELICIA AS SHE WALKS CLOSER TO THE TABLE TO CONFIRM WHAT FELICIA HAS JUST SAID.
TONI: Felicia? Did you just say that you caused that accident?
FELICIA: I did. I took a drink, and I stupidly went for a drive.
FELICIA RUNS HER FINGERS THROUGH HER HAIR IN NERVOUSNESS.
TONI: Would you be willing to...sign a confession?
CASS: My client will not be signing anything until I confer with her first.
FELICIA: Cass…
CASS: Toni, give us a minute please.
TONI LOOKS BACK AT CASS, AND THEN AT FELICIA…
TONI: Alright.
TONI LEAVES THE ROOM, WHILE CASS FACES FELICIA AFTER HE MAKES SURE THAT THE DOOR IS SHUT.
CASS: What the hell do you think you’re doing?
FELICIA: It doesn’t bother you, Cass? I killed Christy’s baby...your baby. I have to live with that for the rest of my life!
CASS: It does hurt, but you’re my best friend. Christy had Maggie kidnapped and forced me to give her a sperm sample so she could get pregnant. I know she had help, but who?

AT THE HOSPITAL, MAGGIE IS IN THE LOCKER ROOM. SHE WALKS TO THE DOOR AND BRIANNA WALKS IN.
MAGGIE: Oh God.
MAGGIE TRIES TO WALK PAST HER AND THEN…
BRIANNA: Wow Maggie. Is that how it’s gonna be? We’re gonna have to work together.
MAGGIE TURNS AROUND AND FACES BRIANNA.
MAGGIE: No...we don’t.
MAGGIE TURNS AROUND TO LEAVE.
BRIANNA: Wait a second! Don’t you wanna know how my date with Matt went?
MAGGIE STOPS, FOLDS HER ARMS, AND TURNS AROUND TO FACE BRIANNA AGAIN.
MAGGIE: What?
BRIANNA: Oh it was lovely. You know how nice the weather was last night. We took in a nice movie; talked for a bit; went back to a hotel and...you know.
MAGGIE WALKS CLOSER AND GETS FACE TO FACE WITH BRIANNA.
MAGGIE: So he took you to a hotel...instead of the Corys?
BRIANNA: It was a very nice hotel.
MAGGIE: So did you see other johns and prostitutes there? I mean, you would fit right in.
BRIANNA: Sticks and stones Dr. Winthrop. He really enjoyed himself and, for that matter, so did I.
BRIANNA FOCUSES AND LOOKS DIRECTLY INTO MAGGIE’S FACE.
BRIANNA: We made love...all night. It was absolutely...magical.
MAGGIE: Really? You’re gonna throw your little date with Matthew in my face? He doesn’t begin to know what you really are.
BRIANNA: And what is that?
MAGGIE: A lying...scheming...low down dirty bitch!
SUDDENLY, THOMASINA’S VOICE BREAKS THE TENSION. SHE IS BEHIND MAGGIE.

OUT IN THE HALLWAY, THOMASINA IS WALKING AND SHE SEES DR. MAURICE BINGHAM AT THE NURSE’S STATION TALKING TO ONE OF THE DESK CLERKS.

CLERK: Mrs. Johnson rescheduled her appointment to next Wednesday at four. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before.
MAURICE: No...no Wednesday at four is perfect.
HE TURNS AND SEES THOMASINA.
THOMASINA: Dr. Bingham.
MAURICE: Hi Dr. Mason.
THOMASINA: Been meaning to ask you. How are you liking your first week here?
MAURICE: Interesting to say the least.
THOMASINA: I haven’t been back to Bay City that long and...things have definitely changed since the last time I lived here. Is the workload too heavy? Too light?
MAURICE: No not at all. I am, however, concerned about one of my patients.
THOMASINA: Are you...afraid they’re gonna harm someone.
MAURICE: That’s just it. I know they’ve got something up their sleeve but..I have no idea what they’re gonna do next.

MEANWHILE, MICHELE HAS A LAB COAT ON, AND SHE WALKS INTO A LAB. AFTER THE DOOR SHUTS, SHE GOES OVER TO A DRAWER WITH BLOOD SAMPLES, AND TAKES OUT A PIECE OF PAPER WITH THE NAME “Hannah Johnson” ON IT. SHE OPENS THE DRAWER AND PULLS OUT BRIDGET’S BLOOD SAMPLE, AND HANNAH’S. SHE SCRUTINIZES THE VIALS TO MAKE SURE OF WHAT SHE’S ABOUT TO DO. ONE VIAL HAS A STICKER THAT READS: HANNAH JOHNSON, AND THE OTHER VIAL HAS A STICKER THAT READS: BRIDGET MCKINNON.
CAMERA PAN ON MICHELE...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

TONI HANGS UP THE OFFICE PHONE IN DISGUST. MITCH AND DEVIN APPROACH HER.
MITCH: What’s going on?
DEVIN: Are you gonna arrest my grandmother?
TONI: That was the DA’s office. They said all the evidence is circumstantial. The only their office will pursue anything...is if Christy decides to press charges.
DEVIN: Are they gonna come after us?
TONI (sighing): No. You are free to go.
MITCH: And...what about my wife?
TONI: Not quite yet.

AT THE CENTER…
CHRISTY: You know what it’s like don’t you? To lose a child.
FRANKIE GETS A LITTLE CHOKED UP, THEN GATHERS HERSELF.
FRANKIE: How dare you throw that in my face?
CHRISTY: It’s true isn’t it? You miscarried also. You know exactly how I’m feeling right now.
FRANKIE: Yes...I did...twice...but it doesn’t change the fact that you did some horrible things Christy. I defended you. I believed that you had changed.
CHRISTY: I did change.
FRANKIE: No you didn’t. You wanted to get me on your side so you could get outta jail, and get pregnant with Cass’s baby. Somehow you got Grant Harrison to call in a favor. Boy you’re something else.
CHRISTY: And you hold that against me? I didn’t get a chance to be a mother. You thought...you thought Douglas an upstanding, noble man….
CHRISTY LOWERS HER VOICE, BUT STILL CONVEYS THE ANGER.
CHRISTY: Well he wasn’t! No, Christy, you’re too young. You can’t raise this baby. I’m too sick to help you raise the baby Christy, and you’re too emotionally unstable. Douglas denied me a chance to raise my son. I made him pay, didn’t I? Slowly...poisoning him...watching him get weaker...and weaker. Then...then I met Cass, and he was married to you...my best friend. Cass was a...very understanding man. He extended...his friendship to me. No man...ever did that to me.
FRANKIE: Not even James?
CHRISTY: Definitely not James Stenbeck.

CHRISTY: He and Douglas were friends. Douglas and I were engaged...and he…

CHRISTY NOTICES A CALL ON HER CELL PHONE, AND SHE ANSWERS.
CHRISTY: Hello? Um...okay. I’ll...I’ll be right there.
CHRISTY PRESSES END CALL.

CHRISTY SUDDENLY LEAVES, AND FRANKIE TURNS AROUND AND LOOKS IN THE DIRECTION WHERE SHE SAW VICKY AND THE BACK OF BRADLEY O’NEILL, BUT THEY ARE GONE.

AT THE HOSPITAL, MAGGIE IS STANDING ACROSS FROM THOMASINA, WHO IS SITTING AT HER DESK. THE DESK IN BETWEEN MAGGIE AND THOMASINA.
MAGGIE: Dr. Mason I can explain.
THOMASINA: I am appalled at that type of behavior.
MAGGIE: She just...she just gets under my skin.
THOMASINA: Look. I wasn’t born yesterday. I understand that everybody isn’t going to get along, but calling her a bitch was very unprofessional.
MAGGIE: I...realize…
MAGGIE: I...realize…
THOMASINA: Brianna is one of our best nurses, and even if she wasn’t, you are to treat everyone with respect. I will try my very best...to not run a hospital full of privileged doctors who think they can talk to anyone like you just did. Is everything okay with you?
MAGGIE: Everything is fine! Everything is just fine.

MEANWHILE, IN THE LOCKER ROOM, BRIANNA LOOKS AROUND AND SEES NOBODY WATCHING. OUT OF HER WHITE LAB COAT POCKET, SHE PUTS ON A PAIR OF WHITE RUBBER GLOVES. NEXT SHE TAKES A CLEAR ZIP BAG FULL OF WHITE PILLS, WALKS SLOWLY TO MAGGIE’S LOCKER, PLACES THEM INSIDE ON THE TOP SHELF, AND GENTLY SHUTS THE DOOR.
BRIANNA: Bye Maggie.
