- Cory broke up with Bridget after Bridget's tests showed she had chlamydia (she didn't, Michele broke in to the hospital mainframe and switched her negative test with a positive one). Cory asked for another chance after learning the truth, and Bridget refused to get back together with him.
- Grant recently learned of Spencer's death, and Spencer left Grant a mysterious item.
- Iris was removed from BayCorp, and Rachel gave her the contract stating her final payment will be issued and KBAY (Iris previously owned company that merged with Cory Productions) will be removed from all future productions. Iris lashed out at Rachel and vowed to crush BayCorp
- Brianna tried to kill Maggie by drugging her with fentanyl after Maggie remembered that Brianna kidnapped her on the night of Carl's party at the Corys. Brianna then locked Maggie in the hospital freezer, causing her to slip into a coma. Maggie woke up, but has only told Rafael that she's awake. Maggie vowed to stop Brianna from leaving town with Matt.
- Gregory stole Sharlene's credit card and used $500 to buy synthetic opioids off of a black market website called Satin Avenue. Sharlene reported her card stolen and the charge was reversed, putting Gregory in debt. Gregory borrowed the money from Elizabeth to pay back the creditor, but he was badly beaten and hospitalized

BRIDGET: That’s ridiculous.
ANTONIO: Is it though? One minute you’re arguing with me, and the next you’re telling Cory to get lost; that it’s none of his business.
BRIDGET: I don’t play games like that.
ANTONIO: You just did.
BRIDGET: How can you stand there and accuse me of using you to make my ex-boyfriend jealous. I was telling him that what I do is none of his business. If he gets jealous, that’s not my problem right?
ANTONIO: Just make sure you don’t tell anybody about what happened.
BRIDGET: What am I gonna say? I saw you talking to a guy in the park. People talk to each other in public all the time.
ANTONIO: And people are listening to the public talks. If this gets out, let’s just say, you won’t be able to stuff that genie back in the bottle.

MAGGIE: The stupid thing to do would be to sit by and watch Brianna destroy peoples’ lives. I’m not gonna do that.
RAFAEL: People think you’re still in a coma.
MAGGIE: That’s what I want people to think and you better not tell ANYONE.
RAFAEL: I don’t have a good feeling about this.

IRIS: I found out I’m Brandon Spaulding’s biological daughter. He gave me to Mac Cory to raise. As far as I’m concerned, Mac is my daddy.
GRANT: Oh so I guess we have something in common now.
GRANT: Our fathers have passed away.
IRIS: Spencer? Oh my goodness I’m so sorry Grant.
GRANT: Thank you.
GRANT: It was fairly recent, and I need a drink…or two…to ease the pain.
IRIS: Spencer was a very handsome and charismatic man.
GRANT: I know you were involved with him once.
IRIS: We were…talking about a future together but it didn’t work out.
GRANT: Our fathers were very powerful and influential in their businesses.
IRIS: My daddy built his company from scratch, and Rachel won’t let me have any part of it.
GRANT: Marrying Carl Hutchins certainly qualifies her for that distinction.
IRIS: Our next common ground.
GRANT: Carl Hutchins, the scum of the earth.
IRIS: That deserves a toast.
SHARLENE: That question should be easily answered.
JOHN: Do you think it was…?
SHARLENE: Of course it was her. That bitch had our son beaten.
JOHN: How do you know?
SHARLENE: I heard her make a phone call at the cemetery right before I confronted her.
JOHN: You confronted her? I told you to stay away from her!
SHARLENE: I had to put her on notice! I’m not living in fear like I did when her mother was tormenting us.
JOHN: Taylor.
SHARLENE: You know?
JOHN: Frankie showed me an estate record. Taylor left everything to her daughter Ellen.
SHARLENE: I overheard her at Taylor’s gravesite calling her ‘mother’. She’s planning on leaving town with Matthew.
JOHN: Frankie called Rachel and told her.
SHARLENE: She’s dangerous John. We’ve gotta stop her before she hurts someone else.
JOHN: How do you suppose we do that? We can’t prove anything.
SHARLENE: Look at our son! He was badly beaten. SHE did it! I’m not gonna sit by and wait for her to hurt someone else I love.
JOHN: She’s not.
SHARLENE: You don’t know that John.
SHARLENE: Like we protected Gregory?
JOHN: Look…just…stay here for a minute. We’re gonna come up with a plan okay? I’m gonna go check on Gregory.
ELIZABETH: Yes he was hurt pretty badly.
JOHN: Thank you for bringing him in.
ELIZABETH: Of course.
THOMASINA: You know I can only share that with the next of kin.
THOMASINA: Do you want…?
ANTONIO: He’s my dad. You can share.
THOMASINA: It’s actually good news. Her vitals are very strong and her heart rate was up.
ANTONIO: What does that mean? Is my mom getting better?
THOMASINA: She’s on her way to a complete recovery. I expect her to be waking up any day now. If you’ll excuse me I have to get to my office.
RAFAEL: That’s…that’s fantastic son isn’t it?
ANTONIO: It is, but don’t think it changes anything between you and me.
RAFAEL: Antonio I wish you would try to understand where I’m coming from. I don’t want you to do any time in prison like I did.
ANTONIO: I’m gonna go talk to my mother.
SHARLENE: That would be wonderful. Thank you so much.
INSIDE GREGORY’S ROOM,
GREGORY HAS AWAKENED BUT HE’S GROGGY.
JOHN: Son.
GREGORY: Hey dad.
JOHN: How did this happen? Did you get in a fight?
GREGORY: I was…I was ambushed by two big guys.
JOHN: Did you know them?
GREGORY: They were…they were…Brianna’s…
JOHN: Brianna? You’re telling me that she set you up?
GREGORY: Yeah.
JOHN BACKS AWAY.
JOHN: I’ll…I’ll be back.

RAFAEL: You running the streets is a BAD decision!
ANTONIO: Mom? You’re…you’re awake. Dr. Mason said she’s expecting you to wake up soon. This is a miracle. This is great!
ANTONIO: I’ll go get Dr. Mason. I’ll tell her you woke up.
MAGGIE: No wait. You can’t do that yet.
IRIS: What happened?
GRANT: He said Kirkland isn’t my only son.
IRIS: Well that’s ridiculous. Of course Kirkland is your only son. It’s so like Carl to do something so evil.
GRANT: Not to mention everything that he’s done to your dad.
IRIS: And don’t forget Rachel, and she MARRIED him, after he kidnapped her and tried to kill her.
GRANT: What are you saying?
IRIS TURNS TO GRANT.
GRANT: That depends on what you’re about to ask me to do.
GRANT: That could be possible.
IRIS: This could be…a mutually beneficial arrangement.
GRANT: We should take this somewhere...private.
