Gregory was involved in a car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Lindsay Winthrop, Cass's niece and Stacey's daughter, was his physical therapist and they fell in love. It also turned out that Jake McKinnon is Lindsay's biological father.
Michele has revealed to Bridget that she switched Bridget's test to make it look like she has chlamydia, which led to her break up with Cory Hutchins
Grant has gotten possession of evidence of Paulina and Jack Snyder selling Remy Woods (Paulina's daughter) on the black market when Remy was a baby. Jack and Paulina had a past and rekindled their relationship. Grant used the blackmail to force Jack to leave Bay City and break up with Paulina. Grant has threatened to expose Jack if Paulina does not marry him.
AT THE CENTER, GREGORY IS SITTING AT A TABLE WHEN LINDSAY WALKS UP TO HIM.

THEY CONTINUE TO KISS AND AT THE DOOR, UNSEEN BY DEVIN, LINDSAY ENTERS, WITNESSES THE KISS, AND LEAVES.
LINDSAY FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT.
GREGORY: You alright babe?
LINDSAY: Yeah…um…yeah. I had something to ask you.
GREGORY: Okay what is it?
LINDSAY: Well you know my mom left and…the apartment gets kind of lonely sometimes.
GREGORY: I’d love to keep you company more often.

MEANWHILE, SOMEONE WITH A BLACK LEATHER GLOVE ON HIS/HER RIGHT HAND PUTS A BURNER PHONE ON A DESK AND SMASHES IT IN ANGER TO PIECES WITH A HAMMER.

BACK AT THE CENTER, PAULINA IS WALKING OUT OF THE COFFEE SHOP TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE. SHE STOPS AND STEPS ASIDE OUT OF THE WAY OF THE ENTRANCE.

BRIDGET STOPS STRUGGLING AS SHE BECOMES UNCONSCIOUS.

RACHEL RUNS TO BRIDGET, WHO IS LYING ON THE GROUND UNCONSCIOUS. SHE SQUATS DOWN TO TEND TO HER, AND SLAPS BRIDGET GENTLY BUT BRIDGET DOESN’T RESPOND WHILE MICHELE STANDS OVER THEM.
RACHEL: She’s unresponsive. Michele call 9-1-1.
MICHELE: Okay. Uh…okay.
MICHELE TAKES OUT HER CELL PHONE AS STEVEN AND JOY WALK UP.

GRANT: Come on Paulina. Don’t make this any more difficult than it has to be.
PAULINA: It’s not that hard at all. You’re a sociopathic blackmailer who thinks he can make me love him! Not exactly marriage material.
PAULINA WALKS OFF TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COFFEE HOUSE ENTRANCE AND TURNS HER BACK TO GRANT.
GRANT: You…you loved me once, and I have always loved you.
PAULINA TURNS AROUND AND FACES GRANT.
PAULINA: You love me huh?
GRANT: Yes.
PAULINA: If you love me…if you ever loved me, you’ll destroy those pictures.
GRANT: I…I can’t do that.
PAULINA: See. You haven’t changed at all. You’ll never change. I gotta go.
AS PAULINA TRIES TO PASS GRANT, HE GRABS HER LEFT ARM. HE BENDS DOWN AND WHISPERS SOMETHING TO HER.
GRANT: Think of Jack. His whole life will be destroyed because of you.
PAULINA: Let me go!
GREGORY RUNS UP AND PUSHES GRANT OFF OF PAULINA.
GREGORY: You heard the lady! Let her go!
GRANT: Gregory.
GREGORY: You just don’t stop do you? You’re harassing Paulina now!
GRANT: This doesn’t concern you.
GREGORY: You’re a piece of garbage you know that!
GRANT: Paulina, don’t forget what I said. Time’s running out. You’ve got till the end of the day.

DEVIN WALKS UP TO THEM.

MAN 2 SUCKER PUNCHES DEVIN IN THE FACE, WHO FALLS TO THE FLOOR, AND THEY BOTH STOMP HIM AND KICK HIM REPEATEDLY WITH THEIR BOOTS.
MICHELE: No you seriously are not blaming me for this!
STEVEN: I’m not accusing you I just…I just wanna know what happened.
MICHELE: We were talking and she just collapsed. She said she couldn’t breathe.
CORY RUNS UP SWEATING FROM HIS RUN AS THE PARAMEDICS ARRIVE.
