PART 1

AT TOPS..

THE ELEVATOR DOORS OPEN, AND AMANDA WALKS OUT OF IT WEARING AN OFF WHITE SKIRT A, MATCHING WOMEN’S SPORT JACKET, AND BLACK HEELS, WITH HER HAIR DOWN.  SHE WALKS PAST A COUPLE OF PEOPLE AND OVER TO ALLEN.  SHE SITS ACROSS FROM HIM.
Sandra Ferguson as Amanda Cory

AMANDA:  Sorry I’m late.  Got caught at the office.
ALLEN:  It’s alright.
AMANDA:  Are you okay?
ALLEN:  I’m worried about my daughter.
AMANDA:  K.C.
ALLEN:  She’s getting involved with that Eric guy.  He ain’t no good Amanda.  How can I make her see that?
AMANDA:  My mother used to do the same thing to me.  She meddled.
Sean Blakemore as Allen Love
ALLEN:  I ain’t meddling.
AMANDA:  That’s how she’s gonna see it if you push.
ALLEN:  He crashed Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding reception with his mother.  He is up to no good.  I see it a mile away, and she’s just falling deeper and deeper with him.
AMANDA:  I hate to say this but there’s really not much you can do about it.
ALLEN:  I’m sick and tired of y’all telling me I can’t protect my daughter.
AMANDA:  Who’s...y’all.
ALLEN:  Toni.  You?
AMANDA:  Toni?
ALLEN:  You would think Toni would be on my side.  After all she’s KC’s mother right?
AMANDA:  So you’ve been spending time with Toni?
ALLEN:  Talkin’ mostly about KC.  I’m scared for her.  If Eric hurts her, I swear to God I don’t know what I’m gon’ do.
AMANDA:  Allen don’t do anything rash or stupid.
ALLEN:  Wouldn’t you do whatever it took to protect Alli?
AMANDA:  That’s not a fair question.
ALLEN:  It’s not?  All I see is KC driving a car ninety miles an hour, heading straight for a brick wall.
AMANDA:  Honey you’re gonna have to let her make her own decisions, and her own mistakes.
ALLEN:  This mistake I ain’t gon let her make.  Eric Stenbeck ain’t gon hurt my daughter.

AT THE CENTER...

Sal Stowers as KC Burrell

Jason Shane Scott as Eric Stenbeck
KC IS SITTING AT A TABLE AND ERIC WALKS UP AND SITS ACROSS FROM EACH OTHER.

ERIC:  Hey there beautiful.
KC:  Hi.
ERIC:  I’m on break.  I just saw you out here.  What’s up?
KC:  Just taking in a nice evening.  Hopeful.
ERIC:  Of?
KC:  As you know I registered for classes at BCU.
ERIC:  Okay?
KC:  And I applied for a P.R. internship at Bay City Medical Center.
ERIC:  That’s...that’s good.  Well I gotta go back and finish my shift.
KC:  I’m certainly not gonna sit here and wait.  You don’t get off til late.
ERIC:  When am I gonna see you again?
KC:  Maybe tomorrow?
ERIC:  Got it.

THEY KISS AS TONI, IN PLAIN CLOTHES, WALKS INTO THE CENTER AND OBSERVES THEM.  AFTER KC LEAVES, ERIC TAKES OUT HIS CELL PHONE, AND SENDS A TEXT.

---

KC IS WALKING AND TONI WALKS UP TO HER.

TONI:  Hey.
KC:  You off work?
TONI:  Not exactly.  Just gonna get an espresso.  I gotta go back to the station.  Lots of work to do.
KC:  Well I applied for the internship at BCMC.
TONI:  Good.  Good I hope you get it.  I’m glad you’re gonna be able to concentrate on school.
KC:  Of course I am.  What else would I….oh no.
TONI:  Look I’m gonna be honest with you.  I just saw you with Eric, and I don’t think that’s something you need to focus on.
KC:  Goodnight.

TONI GRABS KC’S LEFT ARM...

TONI:  No you don’t walk away from me when I’m talking to you.
KC:  Whatever.
TONI:  Break things off with him.  You need to be focused on school not Eric Stenbeck.
KC:  I gotta go.  Getting ready for school!
TONI:  You come back here!

---

MEANWHILE, PAULINA WALKS UP TO TONI.

Judi Evans as Paulina Cory
PAULINA:  Toni.  Hi.
TONI:  Hey Paulina.
PAULINA:  Everything alright?
TONI:  Disagreement with my daughter.
PAULINA:  You’re lucky.  I probably would have been having these with Remy.
TONI:  You’re the lucky one then.
PAULINA:  Hey have you heard anything from Jack?
TONI:  Oh..
PAULINA:  Oh what?
TONI:  He resigned.
PAULINA:  Resigned?  I don’t understand.
TONI:  I was named Chief of Detectives.  Jack left his job.
PAULINA:  My goodness.  Is there something wrong?  Is he okay?
TONI:  He seemed fine to me.  He hasn’t called you?
PAULINA:  No.  It doesn’t make any sense.  He was on his way to the Corys for Carl’s party.  He had an emergency back in Oakdale, and he suddenly had to leave.
TONI:  Do you think something’s going on with Jack?
PAULINA (shaking her head):  I...I don’t know.
TONI:  If there’s anything I can do to help let me know.
PAULINA:  Certainly.  Thank you.

---

Josh Kelly as Kirkland Harrison

Brittany Underwood as Charlie Winthrop Harrison
AT KIRKLAND’S SUITE...KIRKLAND IS SITTING UP IN THE BED, BARECHESTED, HE RECEIVES A TEXT...FROM ERIC.   THE TEXT READS:  I ENJOYED OUR TIME TOGETHER.  I KNOW IT WON’T BE THE LAST.  HE SCROLLS DOWN AND SEES A PICTURE OF ERIC, BARECHESTED.  KIRKLAND PUTS THE PHONE DOWN.  CHARLIE WALKS OUT OF THE BATHROOM WEARING A WHITE TEDDY.

KIRKLAND:  Come here.

HE PULLS CHARLIE TOWARD HIM AND STARTS KISSING HER.

---

Stephen Schnetzer as Cass Winthrop

Alice Barrett Mitchell as Frankie Frame
AT THE WINTHROPS, CASS WALKS IN AND FRANKIE QUICKLY PLACES THE FOLDER WITH THE DIVORCE PETITION ONTO THE BOX.

FRANKIE:  Hey honey.

CASS PUTS HIS ARMS AROUND HER WAIST FROM BEHIND AND KISSES HER ON HER NECK, BUT HE HOLDS THE WHITE BAG BEHIND HIS BACK.

CASS:  Whatcha doin?
FRANKIE:  Oh I was just...sorting through one of my boxes from the office.

CAMERA PAN ON THE FOLDER WITH THE DIVORCE PETITION...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

---

PART 2

AT THE CENTER, PAULINA IS ON HER CELL PHONE.

PAULINA:  Jack it’s me Paulina.  You haven’t returned any of my phone calls.  I haven’t heard from you, and Toni just told me that you quit the force.  I need to know what’s going on.

SHE PRESSES END CALL AND WALKS AWAY.

---

AT TOPS…

AMANDA:  If Eric is as unsavory as you say he is, then you need to be careful.  You could be the one who gets hurt.
ALLEN:  I will do whatever it takes to protect KC, especially from him.

BOTH OF THEIR CELL PHONES VIBRATE.

AMANDA:  Oh it’s Matthew.

AMANDA ANSWERS HER PHONE, AND ALLEN READS HIS TEXT.

AMANDA:  Matthew what’s up?  Oh.  Can’t this wait till the morning?  Oh...Okay.  I’ll be right there.
ALLEN (reading his text):  I gotta talk to you.  I’m getting very concerned about KC.  Can you meet me at the Center?
AMANDA:  I’m sorry I...I gotta go to my mother’s.
ALLEN:  Is Rachel okay?
AMANDA:  Yeah it’s...it’s work related.  Japanese investors are getting antsy about our upcoming meeting.  I’m gonna need some coffee.
ALLEN:  An all nighter.
AMANDA:  Unfortunately yeah.  I’ll see ya.
ALLEN:  Okay.

AMANDA GETS UP, KISSES ALLEN ON HIS RIGHT CHEEK, AND LEAVES.  ALLEN RETURNS TONI’S TEXT MESSAGE WITH:  I’LL BE RIGHT THERE.

----

KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE LIE IN BED NEXT TO EACH OTHER.  CHARLIE IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED, LYING ON HER LEFT SIDE WITH HER EYES CLOSED, AS IF SHE IS ASLEEP.  KIRKLAND LIES ON HIS BACK, STARING AT THE CEILING.  HE FLASHES BACK…

(EPISODE 235)
ERIC:  Are you sure that’s what you want?  Do you want this to be our last time together?
KIRKLAND:  You know your blackmail is only gonna get you so far.
ERIC:  Does everything have to be about that stupid recording?
KIRKLAND:  That’s all that this is about.  Protecting my marriage.

HE FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT.
KIRKLAND:  Protecting my marriage.  Gotta protect my marriage.

MEANWHILE, CHARLIE WITH HER BACK TO KIRKLAND, OPENS HER EYES.

---

AT THE CENTER....ALLEN SITS ACROSS FROM TONI…

ALLEN:  What’s up?  You alright?
TONI:  No.  Not at all.  KC just won’t listen.
ALLEN:  Man she is more stubborn than five mules.
TONI:  She just enrolled in school.  The last thing she needs to be focused on is a relationship, especially one with Eric Stenbeck.
ALLEN:  I didn’t think you were as concerned as I am.
TONI:  Of course I’m concerned about our daughter.
ALLEN:  And what does that mean?  You know as well as I do that something ain’t right with Eric.
TONI:  We need evidence.  Something to show KC that he is no good for her.
ALLEN:  Are you gonna send a tail on him?
TONI:  You know that would never fly with my bosses.
ALLEN:   You know what they say about when you look for something.  We ain’t lookin’ hard enough.  Time to step that up.

ERIC WALKS UP TO THEM AND SHOCKS BOTH OF THEM.

ERIC:  It’s a beautiful evening out isn’t it?
TONI:  Eric.
ALLEN:  You know you really shouldn’t sneak up on people like dat.
ERIC:  So...you guys talkin’ about KC?  And me?  I’m not gonna doing anything to her.  I care about her.
ALLEN:  Yeah right.
ERIC:  Well she and I have really hit it off, and things are good between us.

ALLEN STANDS UP AND TONI STEPS BETWEEN THEM TO SEPARATE THEM.

ALLEN:  You don’t get it do you?  Toni and I don’t want there to be anything between you and KC.
TONI:  Her life is getting on track.  She’s going to school, and she’s getting to know us as her parents.  If you care about her like you say you do, you’ll break things off with her and let her live her life.
ERIC:  I can’t promise you anything.  I like her a lot, and she likes
me.
ALLEN:  There’s the smug ass Eric that we don’t want with our daughter.
ERIC:  With all due respect, I think you should stay out of it.  How would she feel if I told her what you guys just asked me to do?  You just got her, and the way you two are goin’, you’re gonna lose her.  Well, guess this is goodnight.
ALLEN:  I should beat the brakes off of him!
TONI:  Well you’re not gonna do that!
ALLEN:  What else are we supposed to do?
TONI:  I don’t know, but I’ll figure something out.
ALLEN:  We will figure something out, and quickly before he hurts her.

THEY HUG AND AMANDA, WHO IS COMING OUT OF THE COFFEE SHOP WITH TWO CUPS OF COFFEE, SEES THEM.

----

CASS:  So you and Jake sold your business to Dana Kramer?
FRANKIE:  Yep.
CASS:  She’s back in Bay City.  I wonder why.
FRANKIE:  I asked her but...she was cryptic with me.

CASS CONTINUES TO HOLD THE BAG BEHIND THE BACK.

FRANKIE:  So whatcha got behind your back?
CASS:  Uh...a bag.
FRANKIE:  From Larry’s?
CASS:  Yep.
FRANKIE:  What kind of jewelry did you get?

HE TAKES A LITTLE BLACK BOX OUT OF THE BAG AND GIVES IT TO HER.

CASS:  For you.

FRANKIE OPENS THE BOX.  FRANKIE OPENS HER MOUTH IN AMAZEMENT AT WHAT’S IN THE BOX, AND SHE LOOKS BACK UP AT CASS.

FRANKIE:  Oh my God.  Cass?  I don’t know what to say.

Donna encourages Vicky to move on, and questions Michael’s feelings for Stacey
Vicky meets a handsome stranger
Frankie’s secret is revealed

AT THE LOVE MANSION, DONNA IS WALKING DOWNSTAIRS TOWARD THE FOYER AREA WHEN VICKY WALKS IN.
Anna Stuart as Donna Love

Jensen Buchanan as Vicky Hudson

DONNA:  Wow this is a pleasant surprise.
VICKY:  I hope I’m not intruding.
DONNA:  Oh don’t be ridiculous of course you’re not.  Come on in the living room and sit down.

THEY ENTER THE LIVING ROOM.  DONNA AND VICKY SIT NEXT TO EACH OTHER ON THE COUCH.

DONNA:  Are you okay?   Would you like something to drink?
VICKY:  I’m...I guess I’ll be okay.
DONNA:  Oooooh honey.  I’m terribly sorry about what happened with Jake.
VICKY:  We said our goodbyes to each other.  I had no idea there were so many deep issues between us.  They were chipping away at our marriage.
DONNA:  So you guys talked them out?
VICKY:  Yeah.  Michele blamed herself for our divorce.
DONNA:  I hope you told her that it wasn’t her fault.
VICKY:  Yes I did.  Tell me, Donna, whose fault do you think it is?  Do you think I was responsible for my divorce from Jake?
DONNA:  Well...yeah...in a way.

VICKY HITS DONNA GENTLY ON HER LEFT ARM.

VICKY:  Motherrrr?
DONNA:  Well you asked and I gave you my opinion.  I certainly don’t think you were fully responsible.  It takes two to break up a marriage.  I should know.
VICKY:  I had issues with Jake, too.  He certainly wasn’t blameless in this.  I guess I...didn’t really trust him after...the cabin thing.
DONNA:  Oh don’t remind me of that.  I had to get you out of the snow.  Thank God we got out safely.  So you...blame him for Shane’s death.
VICKY:  No...not...not necessarily.
DONNA:  Be honest Victoria.  If Jake had told the ranger that Shane was in the cabin, things might have been very different.  You were in love with Shane, and you married Jake knowing this.
VICKY:  I loved Jake when I married him.  I still do.
DONNA:  Listen.  There’s no sense in re-living in your mind what happened.  I’m sure you love Jake and you always will because he’s Bridget and Michele’s father, but you’re divorced now and you need to move on.
VICKY:  Just like you did with Michael.

THEY BOTH LOOK UP AND SEE MICHAEL.
Kale Browne as Michael Hudson

MICHAEL:  My ears were ringing.
VICKY:  Hi dad.
MICHAEL:  Hey sweetheart.
DONNA:  I’m gonna go upstairs...to bed...alone.
VICKY:  Oh no you two are fighting again.
MICHAEL:  And I wanna talk to your mother.
VICKY:  I’ll...be leaving you two...alone.
DONNA:  Call me honey.

DONNA WATCHES VICKY LEAVE AND TURNS TO MICHAEL.

DONNA:  Well I’m going to bed goodnight.
MICHAEL:  No you’re not.  Not until we talk about what happened at the hospital.
DONNA:  Well there really is nothing else to discuss is there?  It’s clear you still have a soft spot for Stacey Winthrop.

STACEY’S APARTMENT...LINDSAY WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM WHILE STACEY SITS ON THE COUCH WITH HER TABLET AND PAPERS SCATTERED ON THE COFFEE TABLE.  LINDSAY IS WEARING BLUE JEANS, A PURPLE BLOUSE, AND HEELS.  STACEY HAS A GRAY WOMEN’S SUIT.
Lesli Kay as Stacey Winthrop

Kate Mansi as Lindsay Winthrop

STACEY:  You look nice honey.  Going out with Gregory?
LINDSAY:  Yep.
STACEY:  Well have a great time.

LINDSAY WALKS TO THE DOOR, STOPS, AND TURNS AROUND TO FACE STACEY.

LINDSAY:  You’re...working a lot lately.
STACEY:  Well I’m...just preparing a portfolio.
LINDSAY:  Oh.  High profile client huh?
STACEY:  You could say that.
LINDSAY:  I mean...you should...put the work down for a couple of hours.  Have some fun.
STACEY:  Aww honey thanks, but I have to put this together for…

STACEY STOPS HERSELF FROM TELLING LINDSAY WHAT THE PORTFOLIO IS FOR.

STACEY:  You go out and have a great time with Gregory okay?

STACEY CONTINUES TO SHUFFLE HER PAPERS, BUT LINDSAY WALKS OVER TO HER AND NOTICES SOMETHING ON ONE OF THE PAPERS, AND THE ADDRESS READS:  900 Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA.

LINDSAY:  Mom?  What were you gonna tell me?

STACEY TAKES A DEEP BREATH.

STACEY:  I...I wasn’t going to tell you.  I was gonna wait until everything was finalized but...I’m moving back to Los Angeles.
LINDSAY:  Mom!  You can’t do that!  You can’t leave me here!
STACEY:  I’m not leaving you here alone.  You have Jake, your sisters, Cass, Frankie, Charlie.

----

AT THE CENTER, KIRKLAND AND CHARLIE WALK THROUGH THE CENTER DOORS AND SIT AT A NEARBY TABLE.  THEY SIT ACROSS FROM EACH OTHER, BUT CHARLIE LOOKS DOWN AT THE TABLE.
Josh Kelly as Kirkland Harrison

Brittany Underwood as Charlie Winthrop Harrison

KIRKLAND:  Babe you okay?
CHARLIE:  No.  I guess I should be right?  I mean, I’m going back to school, I applied for the P.R. internship at BCMC.  I am married to a handsome, sexy guy.
KIRKLAND:  Thank you, thank you.
CHARLIE:  However, I can’t stop thinking about my mom.
KIRKLAND:  What about her?
CHARLIE:  She’s keeping something from me.
KIRKLAND:  You mean about the real reason why she stayed away.
CHARLIE:  Yeah.  I mean, I wanna know.  Where was she?  Was she happy?
KIRKLAND:  Did you think it might just be too painful for her to talk about?
CHARLIE:  I don’t know.  She won’t tell me.  She needs to tell me how she feels.

KIRKLAND REACHES HIS LEFT HAND AND PUTS IT ON CHARLIE’S RIGHT HAND.

KIRKLAND:  Babe, don’t be upset about it.
CHARLIE:  She owes me.  She’s owes my dad.  She gives me this B.S. reason that she wanted dad and I to be happy with Lila.
KIRKLAND:  She’ll...tell you when she’s ready.  The more you push, the more she’s gonna clam up.  Ya know?

CHARLIE LOOKS UP AND SEES CASS, WHO WALKS UP TO THEM.
Stephen Schnetzer as Cass Winthrop

CASS:  Hey.
CHARLIE:  Dad hi.
CASS:  Kirkland.
KIRKLAND:  Hey Cass what’s up?
CASS:  Just...uh...out.
KIRKLAND:  Really.  What’s in the bag?
CHARLIE:  Larry’s?  That’s a jewelry store.
KIRKLAND:  Hmmm wonder what could be in there.

CASS LOOKS AT THE TWO OF THEM AND SMILES.

----
Alice Barrett Mitchell as Frankie Frame

AT THE WINTHROPS, FRANKIE BRINGS IN A BOX THAT CONTAINS SOME DOCUMENTS FROM THE P.I. OFFICE.  SHE PUTS IT ON THE TABLE, STOPS, AND TAKES AN ENVELOPE OUT OF IT.  SHE LOOKS AT IT WITH A BIT OF ANGST, BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WHAT’S IN IT.

---

CASS:  Just some...earrings?
CHARLIE:  Dad are you doing drag again?
CASS:  No.  It’s for your mother.
CHARLIE:  Oh come on.  Mom has enough earrings.  What’s really in the...Oh dad.  Are you…?

---

FRANKIE LOOKS AT A PAPER THAT SHE TOOK OUT OF THE BROWN MANILA ENVELOPE THAT SHE REMOVED FROM THE BOX.  IT READS AT THE TOP:  “PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE”.  SHE TAKES A DEEP BREATH...

CASS (V.O.):  Alright you got me kiddo.  I’m gonna ask your mother to marry me.

CAMERA PAN ON FRANKIE...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG…

PART 2

MICHAEL:  For the fiftieth time I don’t have feelings for Stacey.  She’s a friend.
DONNA:  A friend I don’t approve of.  A friend who took Mikey away from us.  The same friend who helped Jamie win custody of Steven.
MICHAEL:  Donna when are you gonna let these things go?  This happened over twenty five years ago!
DONNA:  And I’m never going to forget them.  That woman has done nothing but try to destroy our family, and yet you want to call her on her cell phone and take her side over mine.
MICHAEL:  You were blaming her for Jake and Victoria’s divorce when it clearly wasn’t her fault, or Lindsay’s.
DONNA:  You know where to find the blankets.  Hope you find the couch comfortable.
MICHAEL:  You’re being petty.
DONNA:  No I’m not.  As a matter of fact, why don’t you go to Stacey’s and sleep with her?  You know you want to.

DONNA WALKS OUT OF THE LIVING ROOM AND UPSTAIRS BEFORE MICHAEL CAN REPLY, THEN HE GOES TO THE FOOT OF THE STAIRS, WITH DONNA AT THE TOP OF THEM.

MICHAEL:  Donna?
DONNA:  Good night.

---

LINDSAY:  They’re not you, mom.  I need my mother here.
STACEY:  Oh baby.  You’ve grown up so much.  You’re not a little girl.  You’ve got everything going for you here.
LINDSAY:  Well I can’t have children.
STACEY:  Yes you can and I don’t wanna hear you say that anymore.
LINDSAY:  It’s true.
STACEY:  There are other ways of having kids.  You are wonderful.  I am so privileged to have such a beautiful, strong, smart daughter.
LINDSAY:  I get it all from you.  That’s why you can’t leave.
STACEY:  I have to go.  There’s nothing else for me to do in Bay City.
LINDSAY:  Are you sure about that mom?
STACEY:  What do you mean?
LINDSAY:  What about Michael?
STACEY:  What about him?
LINDSAY:  He came to your defense at the hospital earlier.
STACEY:  He’s got a hero complex.
LINDSAY:  I think he kinda likes you mom.
STACEY:  The last time I got involved with Michael Hudson, I almost got disbarred.   Besides he and Donna aren’t broken up as far as I know.
LINDSAY:  So you...have feelings for him?
STACEY:  That really doesn’t matter.  If I take him, I have to take everything he comes with, namely Donna and Vicky, and I am not about to go through that again.

----

HOTEL BAR...VICKY IS SITTING AND TAKES A SWIG OF HER DRINK.

VICKY:  Another one please.
BARTENDER:  This is your third one.  Are you gonna be okay ma’am?
VICKY:  Don’t worry about me.  I’ll be fine.  Just gimme my drink please.

THE BARTENDER SLIPS HER A BROWN DRINK ON ICE.  VICKY TAKES ANOTHER SWIG, AND TURNS TO HER RIGHT.  SITTING ON HER RIGHT IS A BEARDED MAN WITH A CAP OVER HIS EYES.  HE IS DRESSED IN A LUMBERJACK SHIRT, BLUE JEANS, AND SHOES.  HE ALSO TAKES A SWIG OF HIS DRINK.

VICKY:  My whole life has fallen apart.  I deserve...to drink!  My daughters are fighting.  Ha!  One of my daughters, as much as I hate to say it, reminds me of me when I was younger.  She’s quite the schemer.

VICKY TAKES ANOTHER SIP AND SWALLOWS.

VICKY:  Get a load of what she did.  My daughter is so jealous of her sister.  She intercepted her college acceptance letter in the mail, stole liquor out of my grandfather’s cabinet, spiked her sister’s boyfriend’s drink at the school prom in an effort to steal him from her, and she blames my other daughter for being pissed off about it.
MAN:  Yeah that sucks.
VICKY:  I mean if this happened to me, I’d be mad, too.   Wouldn’t you?
MAN:  I couldn’t blame her.
VICKY:  Oh and that’s not all.  I find out my husband, well, he isn’t my husband anymore, but anyway, we had been married for eighteen years, and I find out just last night, that he never trusted me.  He was on such a high horse, well I fixed him, because he allowed someone I cared about to die, and I reminded him of it.
MAN:  Wow.
VICKY:  He also raped my sister, and I haven’t forgotten about that either.
MAN:  You’ve been through a lot.
VICKY:  I sure have.   Wait a minute, I’m so rude.  I haven’t even introduced myself.  I’m Vicky.

VICKY EXTENDS HER RIGHT HAND.  THE MAN LIFTS HIS CAP, EXTENDS HIS RIGHT HAND TO VICKY’S, AND THEY SHAKE.

----

KIRKLAND:  Wow...I remember that excitement your dad’s feeling now.  He’s about to propose to the woman he loves.
CHARLIE:  Right.
KIRKLAND:  That’s all you have to say?
CHARLIE:  No I didn’t mean it like that.
KIRKLAND:  You’re thinking about your mother.
CHARLIE:  She’s hiding something.  If she doesn’t wanna tell me, then it’s a pretty safe bet that she hasn’t told dad, and now he’s about to ask her to marry him again.

---

MEANWHILE, FRANKIE LOOKS FURTHER DOWN HER DIVORCE PETITION.  IT READS “FRANCESCA O’NEILL” AS THE PETITIONER, AND THEN SHE READS FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE, AND THE DESPONDENT’S NAME READS “BRADLEY O’ NEILL”.

--

MEANWHILE, THE MAN WHO SHAKES VICKY’S HAND TELLS HER HIS NAME.
Bradley Cole as Bradley O' Neill

MAN:  O’Neill...Bradley O’Neill.

--

FRANKIE, WITH HER BACK FACING THE FRONT DOOR, TAKES A DEEP BREATH AFTER LOOKING AT THE PAPERS, AND CASS WALKS IN.

CASS:  Hey good lookin!

FREEZE FRAME ON FRANKIE WITH CASS AT THE FRONT DOOR...SLOW FADE OUT...END OF EPISODE 241
