PART 1

Grant Harrison

Kirkland Harrison

KIRKLAND:  Wow.  When?
GRANT:  Last night.
KIRKLAND:  Is there anything I can do?
GRANT:  Son, you’re being here is…is more than enough.
KIRKLAND:  I didn’t even know grandpa Spencer was dying.
GRANT:  I didn’t either.  He didn’t want anyone to know.
KIRKLAND:  How did you find out?
GRANT:  Kelsey called and told me.
KIRKLAND:  Dad I’ve never seen you like this.  I have to say though that you’re taking this harder than I thought.  You and Spencer weren’t always that close.
GRANT:  Despite everything we’ve gone through, he was still my dad.  He definitely wasn’t perfect, but I still loved him.  I’m so glad you and I have…reached a point where we could…at least be on good terms despite what I’ve done to your mother in the past.

KIRKLAND SIGHS.

KIRKLAND:  I came back to town angry at you, but…but just like you said about Spencer, you’re my dad…and I love you.

GRANT TURNS AROUND AND PULLS KIRKLAND INTO A TIGHT HUG, THEN LETS HIM GO.

GRANT:  You don’t know how much it means to me to hear that.
KIRKLAND:  I mean it.

GRANT LOOKS AROUND THEN WALKS TO THE DOOR.

GRANT:  Would you mind locking up when you leave?
KIRKLAND:  Where are you headed?
GRANT:  Son, I need a stiff drink.

Rachel Cory Hutchins

Felicia Gallant Blake

RACHEL:  I really hope they can get to the bottom of this so you can have some closure.
FELICIA:  Meanwhile they don’t know where Christy is and I’m always wondering when she’s going to strike again.  She threatened my daughters.  She threatened Devin.
RACHEL:  I’m sure you’ve alerted them.
FELICIA:  Yes they know.
RACHEL:  Somehow, I believe everything is going to work out.  No harm is going to come to anyone you love.
FELICIA:  From your lips…
RACHEL:  You have to believe it.  Your family will be as safe as they’ve always been.
FELICIA:  We do what we have to do to protect them.
RACHEL:  Speaking of which…I have a delivery to make.
FELICIA:  Do you want me to go with you?
RACHEL:  No I need to…do this alone.

---------------------------------

AT THE HOSPITAL, THOMASINA IS SITTING AT HER DESK WHEN BRIANNA WALKS IN.

Brianna Jameson

Thomasina Mason

THOMASINA:  Brianna hi.  What can I do for you?
BRIANNA:  I was wondering if you had gotten my email.
THOMASINA:  I’m so sorry.  I’ll take a look at it.  Here it is.

THOMASINA LOOKS AT IT AND FROWNS.

THOMASINA:  Oh.
BRIANNA:  I take it that you see it.
THOMASINA:  Effective immediately?
BRIANNA:  Yes I’m…moving away.
THOMASINA:  This is quite a shock.  I’d hate to lose you.  You’re one of our best nurses.
BRIANNA:  Thank you for that Dr. Mason I just…I can’t pass up this new opportunity.
THOMASINA:  I didn’t say I accepted this resignation.  I can’t let you go.

 ---------------------
Iris Spaulding

Vivien Gorrow, Jr.

AT IRIS’S SUITE, IRIS IS SITTING ON THE COUCH WHEN VIVIEN, JR. WALKS IN THROUGH THE ELEVATOR DOORS WITH A BOX.

VIVIEN:  I got this from the front desk.

VIVIEN PUTS THE BOX DOWN AND IRIS SEES IT’S FROM SPRINGFIELD.
IRIS:  These must be…some of Alexandra’s belongings.

IRIS LEANS BACK ON THE COUCH AND VIVIEN STANDS OVER HER.

VIVIEN:  Well aren’t you gonna open it?
IRIS:  Not right now.
VIVIEN:  Why not?
IRIS:  It’s just gonna remind me of everything that I’ve lost.  My daddy’s company; my son hardly calls me, and my half sister.
VIVIEN:  Oh.  I’m…I’m sorry.  I didn’t mean to…
IRIS:  It’s okay.

IRIS SIGHS AS SHE GETS A CALL ON HER CELL PHONE.

IRIS:  Yes…okay.  Send her up.

IRIS ENDS THE CALL.

VIVIEN:  Who’s coming up?

THE ELEVATOR DOORS OPEN AND RACHEL WALKS IN WITH HER ENVELOPE.

IRIS:  Rachel.  To what do I owe the…pleasure?
RACHEL:  I came to give you this.

RACHEL GIVES IRIS THE ENVELOPE.

IRIS:  What’s in here?
RACHEL:  Open it.

IRIS OPENS IT AND READS THE LETTER AND IRIS LOOKS UP WITH A BLANK STARE.

IRIS:  Vivien I noticed that you were out of cleaning supplies.
VIVIEN:  I just bought some the other day.  We’re pretty stocked…

RACHEL AND IRIS STARE AT VIVIEN.

VIVIEN:  Why are you looking at me like that?  Ooooh I get it.  I DID notice we were low on bleach.

VIVIEN LEAVES AND AS SOON AS THE ELEVATOR DOORS CLOSE…

IRIS:  So this is the nail in the proverbial coffin isn’t it?
RACHEL:  Baycorp will be taking over any future productions that KBAY was credited with.
IRIS:  And you couldn’t wait to rub this in my face!
RACHEL:  What are you talking about Iris?
IRIS:  This is it.  I’m completely and wholly out of daddy’s company.  Isn’t that what you’ve always wanted?

CAMERA PAN ON IRIS.  SLOW FADE OUT.  FADE IN TO THEME SONG.

PART 2

Frankie Frame

Charlie Winthrop Harrison

CHARLIE:  Don’t leave anything out mom.
FRANKIE:  We expected that Fax was going to come after me, and he did.  I was supposed to pick you up from the sitters after Josie’s bridal shower.
CHARLIE:  I remember waiting for you.  I was wondering why you hadn’t shown.
FRANKIE:  I was given a drug so I could breathe, but I had to appear dead.  I had to lay low until Fax was caught.
CHARLIE:  I remember reading about all of that, but you didn’t come back…wait…you were Anne O’ Donnell?

FRANKIE SIGNS NERVOUSLY.

FRANKIE:  Yes.
CHARLIE:  So you came back to Bay City, and you never told us that it was really you.
FRANKIE:  I had no memory of who I was.  Something drew me to Bay City but I didn’t know why.  I was told that the Fairchilds died so the family couldn’t come after me.  It was safe for me to come back.
CHARLIE:  Did you tell anyone else about this?
FRANKIE:  I did, but it wasn’t entirely true.
CHARLIE:  So how do I know you’re not lying to me now?
FRANKIE:  I promise you sweetheart I’m not.
CHARLIE:  So you came to Bay City, with no memory of dad or me, and then you left.  What happened?
FRANKIE:  I had gotten into an accident and…I was rescued by a doctor.  He nursed me back to health and we…
CHARLIE:  Fell in love?  Wait a minute.  Bryant Kramer.  Do you know him?
FRANKIE:  Yes.
CHARLIE:  He said you helped raise him.  Who did you raise him with?
FRANKIE:  His name is Bradley O’Neill.

 ----------------------------

BRIANNA:  I’m sorry?
THOMASINA:  Dr. Matthews just left for Seattle and now this?
BRIANNA:  It’s just that…things in my life are finally looking up.
THOMASINA:  I mean I know I can’t stop you but there’s gotta be something I can do to keep you.  Is it a raise you’re looking for?  I can make that happen.
BRIANNA:  Dr. Mason this has nothing to do with money.  I found love.  I found the person I want to be with, and we’re leaving town together.
THOMASINA:  Where will you be working?
BRIANNA:  With the shortage of nurses I’m sure I’ll land a job somewhere.
THOMASNA: If you need a reference please don’t hesitate to call me.  I’ll be more than happy to put in a good word for you.  It truly is our loss.
BRIANNA:  I had a great time working here.  I…learned a lot.
THOMASINA:  And Bay City Medical Center was privileged to have you.  I mean you saved Tyrone and Marley’s baby from being kidnapped by my cousin.
BRIANNA:  Someone was putting her up to it, so I know it wasn’t entirely her fault.
THOMASINA:  You’re truly a hero.  I’ll um…send this to HR and I’ll have it processed.  I wish you the best of luck.

THOMASINA GETS UP, APPROACHES BRIANNA, AND THEY SHAKE HANDS.

 ------------------------------

RACHEL:  I didn’t come to fight with you.
IRIS:  You could’ve…sent this by email or…even delivered through a messenger.  No Rachel, you brought this over in person.  You wanted to make sure that I knew on no uncertain terms that I was out of daddy’s company.
RACHEL:  I have to get back to the office Iris.

RACHEL STARTS TO WALK TOWARD THE ELEVATOR DOORS.

IRIS:  What did my daddy ever see in you?

RACHEL TURNS AROUND.

RACHEL:  I beg your pardon.
IRIS:  How did you do it?  How did you manage to fool him?  I saw right through you from the moment I met you.  You were nothing but a GOLDDIGGER, and somehow you managed to get my father to fall in love with you.
RACHEL:  Is there a point that you’re trying to make?
IRIS:  That company belongs to me just as much as it belongs to any of your children!
RACHEL:  You tried to make a side deal with Devin Hutchins!
IRIS:  I shouldn’t have had to do any of that!  You trapped my father by having Amanda, and then he adopted Matthew, and don’t get me started on Paulina!  Sandy was the only one who had any sense!  You married my father twice, and with the ultimate stroke of luck, he dies so you could inherit his company, and you MISMANGED IT!
RACHEL:  You know what Iris I put up with your bratty behavior; your jealousy; your schemes for years because Mac loved you and I loved him.  I don’t have to do it anymore.  You can’t be trusted Iris.  You can NEVER be trusted!
IRIS:  And YOU CAN?  You went off and married CARL HUTCHINS of all people!  The man who tried to kill you and daddy.  The man who envied EVERYTHING that Mac had, and you HANDED IT TO Carl on a silver platter!  You are one STUPID woman!
RACHEL:  And you’re a spoiled BRAT who thinks she’s entitled to everything that Mackenzie Cory had and doesn’t want to share!  Time for you to GROW UP!
IRIS:  GET OUT!
RACHEL:  You have your copy of the final agreement.  Good day Iris.

RACHEL LEAVES.

IRIS:  You’re gonna pay for this Rachel.  I’ll make sure of it.

CAMERA PAN ON IRIS.  SLOW FADE OUT.  END OF PART 2

-----------------------------------------

CONCLUSION

CHARLIE:  Were you married?
FRANKIE:  We did, but we’re divorced now.
CHARLIE:  So as soon as you…recovered your memories you came back.
FRANKIE:  Of course I did.  I came back for you and your father; Aunt Sharlene.
CHARLIE:  Wow this…this is big.  Does dad know?

FRANKIE LOOKS AT CHARLIE.

CHARLIE:  Oh my God.  You guys are getting married and he doesn’t know?  You should have told him already mom!  You’re lying to dad!   That’s no way to start a marriage!
FRANKIE:  I’m going to tell him.  Tonight.

PREVIOUSLY ON ANOTHER WORLD
·         Felicia was lured to Christy Carson’s suite, where Christy terrorized Felicia with a gun and forced her to down Flurazepam and vodka.  Christy blamed Felicia for causing her miscarriage.  Cass and Frankie found Felicia in time
·         Michele broke into the BCMC mainframe and switched Bridget’s negative chlamydia test with someone else’s positive test.  This false reading lead to Bridget and Cory’s breakup.  During a heated argument, Bridget collapsed and it was discovered she had a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotic that was prescribed to her for the S.T.I. (that she never had).  It was discovered that Bridget never had chlamydia

PART 1

AT THE CORYS, FELICIA RINGS THE DOORBELL AND RACHEL ANSWERS.

Rachel Cory Hutchins

Felicia Gallant Blake
Felicia Gallant Blake

RACHEL:  Felicia!  What a pleasant surprise!  Come on in.

FELICIA WALKS IN AND RACHEL SHUTS THE DOOR BEHIND HER.

RACHEL:  Hilda’s on vacation.  Can I get you something?

FELICIA SITS DOWN.

FELICIA:  No I don’t need anything.  Wait a minute, Hilda’s retiring soon isn’t she?
RACHEL:  As a matter of fact she is.  Going to miss her work.
FELICIA:  Are you looking for a replacement?
RACHEL:  Well the kids are all grown up.  We probably don’t even need a housekeeper anymore.
FELICIA:  This is a big house.  You might want to rethink that idea.
RACHEL:  I’ve got so many other things on my mind.   Finding a new housekeeper is the last thing on my mind.
FELICIA:  I completely understand.
RACHEL:  Why?  What’s going on?
FELICIA:  Dante came by my suite.
RACHEL:  Dante?  Was it police business?
FELICIA:  He said he could not bring charges against Christy.
RACHEL:  So she just gets to go free after what she did to you?
FELICIA:  It sure looks like it.  But that’s not even biggest part.  I’m always wondering if she’s gonna try and hurt Lorna, Jenna or Devin.
RACHEL:  If it makes you feel better, Devin can stay here and I can hire extra security.

OUTSIDE OF THE CORYS, SOMEONE APPROACHES THE FRONT DOOR AND SEES FELICIA AND RACHEL THROUGH THE RECTANGULAR GLASS ON THE RIGHT OF THE DOOR.

-----------------------------------------------------

AT THE WINTHROP’S, CASS WALKS INTO THE LIVING ROOM DRESSED IN HIS SUIT AND CARRYING HIS BRIEFCASE.  HE PLACES IT NEXT TO THE COUCH.  FRANKIE WALKS IN FROM THE OUTSIDE.

Cass Winthrop

CASS:  Hey where did you go?
FRANKIE:  Checked the mail.  I’m expecting something.
CASS:  There hasn’t been mail here in three days.
FRANKIE:  I don’t know what’s going on?. Are you uh…going to court today…to file the suit?
CASS:  Yeah I am.  I have to be honest I’m really nervous about this.
FRANKIE:  Charlie said she wanted you to do it.  I’m headed over that way.  Maybe you could hold off on the filing and I’ll talk to her?
CASS:  How is she feeling?
FRANKIE:  I called her and she said she’s feeling better, but I’m gonna go check on her anyway.
CASS:  That’s a good idea.  Let me know how it goes.  I’ll see you later.

THEY KISS AND CASS WALKS OUT THE DOOR.  FRANKIE NOTICES SOMETHING.

FRANKIE:  Cass you forgot your…

FRANKIE PICKS UP THE BRIEFCASE AND HEARS FAINT CHANTS AND A GUNSHOT.  FRANKIE GATHERS HERSELF AND CASS WALKS BACK IN.

FRANKIE:  I was gonna bring this out to you.
CASS:  Thank you honey.  Can’t do much without my files.
FRANKIE:  I’ll call ya later.

--------------------------------------------

AT KIRKLAND’S SUITE, CHARLIE WALKS AROUND.
Kirkland Harrison

Charlie Winthrop Harrison

KIRKLAND:  Glad you’re feeling better babe.
CHARLIE:  Much better than yesterday that’s for sure, but I’m gonna rest for now.
KIRKLAND:  I’m gonna go out to see my dad.  Do you need anything while I’m gone?
CHARLIE:  No actually um…thank you.
KIRKLAND:  You’re not gonna be alone though.
CHARLIE:  Why not?
KIRKLAND:  Wellllll I made a couple of phone calls and…they should be here any minute.

THERE’S A KNOCK ON THE DOOR.

KIRKLAND:  That should be them.

KIRKLAND OPENS THE DOOR AND IT’S LILA AND JASMINE.

Jasmine Cory

Lila Roberts

CHARLIE:  OH MY GOD!!

LILA AND JASMINE WALK IN.

LILA:  Hey Kirkland.
JASMINE:  Thanks for inviting us.

CHARLIE GETS OUT OF BED AND HUGS THEM.

CHARLIE:  It’s so good to see you guys!   Even though you couldn’t make it to my wedding.
LILA:  You know I wasn’t feelin’ that well and Jasmine was in school.
CHARLIE:  You’re here now.  That’s all that matters.  This is the best!
LILA:  Well you got a good husband.
JASMINE:  We came right over as soon as he called.
KIRKLAND:  Well I…I gotta get going.
LILA:  We’ll take good care of her.
KIRKLAND:  I know.  See you guys later.

KIRKLAND LEAVES AND SHUTS THE DOOR.

CHARLIE:  So what is going on with you guys?   When did you guys get here?
LILA:  Bout a couple weeks ago.
CHARLIE:  And you are JUST getting around to come see me?
JASMINE:  We were coming we just…
CHARLIE:  Just what?

JASMINE LOOKS AT LILA.

LILA:  What did I do?
JASMINE:  Mom it’s just us now.  Tell Charlie why you wanted to come back.

 --------------------------------------

AT DONNA’S SUITE…
Michele McKinnon

Donna Love

MICHELE: A mental institution?  You’re trying to make me look like I’m crazy.
DONNA:  No we’re not honey.  After what you’ve done, getting help might be the best thing.
VICKY:  She was getting treatment from Dr. Bingham at the hospital.  She doesn’t need to be at some inpatient facility!
JAKE:  Did you go see Dr. Bingham to one up your sister?
PAULINA:  I can’t believe what you’re saying to her!
MICHELE:  You just think the worst of me don’t you dad?
JAKE:  That’s not it.
VICKY:  Sounds like it to me!
Vicky Hudson

Jake McKinnon

CORY WALKS UP TO MICHELE.

MICHELE:  Cory.  Please I can explain everything.
CORY:  Is this true?  You switched those tests?
BRIDGET:  Yeah she did.
MICHELE:  Bridget flaunted in my face that you two slept together and posted stuff on social media about me---
CORY:  I can’t believe this.  I don’t even know who you are anymore.
MICHELE:  It’s still me.  I’m still the girl you dated in high school.

CORY SHAKES HIS HEAD.

Cory Hutchins

CORY:  No you’re…you’re a totally different person.  I…I gotta get outta here.

CORY WALKS AWAY AND MICHELE RUNS UP BEHIND BUT STOPS.

MICHELE:  Cory!  Cory don’t leave!  NO!  Don’t go please.
BRIDGET:  Look what you’ve done.  You’ve lost everything.  And if you don’t give me your answer, you’ll lose your freedom, too.

MICHELE TURNS AROUND AND FACES BRIDGET.

CAMERA PAN ON BRIDGET.  SLOW FADE OUT.  END OF PART 1

------------------

PART 2

LILA:  Oh Jazz I ain’t gon’ get into all that right now.
CHARLIE:  Is everything okay?  Are you…oh no.
LILA:  No it’s nothin’ like that.  I’m fine.
JASMINE:  She’s not sick.  It’s about Cass.
CHARLIE:  Dad?  Why?  You guys were married for a while.  You…want my dad back?
LILA:  Don’t listen to Jasmine.  It’s not like that at all.  I know your daddy is gonna marry your mama.  I didn’t come back here to stand in their way.
CHARLIE:  So after all this time, you’re just visiting?
LILA:  Look I came back because Jasmine wanted to come back.
JASMINE:  Oh come on mom….
LILA:  Jasmine has all her family here.  She wanted to see her grandparents and her daddy.
CHARLIE:  Are you sure that’s all?
JASMINE:  It’s not---
LILA:  Yes it is!  I’m really just along for the ride.  Jasmine aren’t you happy to see your family.
JASMINE:  Lila blames your mother for breaking up her marriage to Cass.
LILA:  Jasmine Rachel Cassandra Cory you hush!
CHARLIE:  I felt like it was something like that.  You and dad started arguing a lot and then you got a divorce.
LILA:  Look I’m not trying to bad mouth your mama but…your daddy never got over her, and that’s what broke up our marriage.  She really didn’t do anything.
CHARLIE:  My parents love each other deeply, but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have their faults…or secrets.
LILA:  What do you mean by that?
CHARLIE:  I asked my mom where she was all of those years after she left Bay City and she got defensive.

SOMEONE KNOCKS ON THE DOOR.

CHARLIE:  I wonder who that is.
LILA:  I’ll get it.

LILA OPENS THE DOOR AND IT’S FRANKIE.

FELICIA:  Thank you so much but that won’t be necessary.
RACHEL:  I can’t see how the police can’t charge Christy after what she did.
FELICIA:  Dante said he didn’t have enough evidence.  She covered her tracks very well.
RACHEL:  I’m so sorry.
FELICIA:  Don’t be I…I just want her off the streets.  I can’t feel safe until she is.
RACHEL:  I understand.  Maybe I can make a few calls.
FELICIA:  No.  I’m just gonna have to buy protection.  I haven’t forgotten how to handle a gun.
RACHEL:  I hope they find her soon.  Just for your peace of mind at least.
FELICIA:  I’m sorry I came here and dumped this on you.
RACHEL:  No it’s no problem at all.  Since Christy didn’t leave any evidence for them to charge her, do you think she had some help?
FELICIA:  John seems to think so.
RACHEL:  John?  What does he have to do with this?
FELICIA:  The prescription was written in my name, and authorized by John.
RACHEL:  Are you serious?  Do you really John would write a prescription for you without your approval?
FELICIA:  You see that’s just it.  I don’t know what to believe about this.
RACHEL:  John would never deliberately put you in harm’s way.
FELICIA:  Dante said that someone that looked like me picked up the prescription.
RACHEL:  That had to have been Christy wearing a disguise or something.
FELICIA:  Or someone else doing it for her.  Anyway they couldn’t identify her.
RACHEL:  Christy couldn’t have covered all of her bases that well.  Someone out there knows what she did and is not coming forward.
FELICIA:  John said that someone broke into his doctor portal and authorized the prescription.  RACHEL:  Does he think it was Christy?
FELICIA:  I don’t believe he does, and if it wasn’t her, this person is the one who Christy was working with.

FRANKIE:  Lila.
LILA:  Hi Frankie.  Charlie’s right in here.
FRANKIE WALKS IN AND LILA SHUTS THE DOOR.

FRANKIE:  Hi Jasmine.
JASMINE:  Hi Frankie.
CHARLIE:  Mom I wasn’t expecting you.
FRANKIE:  You look better than you were yesterday.
CHARLIE:  I definitely feel better.  Kirkland called Lila and Jasmine to come and lift my spirits.
LILA:  I’m glad we could help.
CHARLIE:  Hey uh…I wanna talk to my mom for a bit.  I’ll catch up with you guys later.  I’m so happy you came over.

LILA AND JASMINE HUG CHARLIE AS FRANKIE LOOKS AT THEM.

JASMINE:  You better.
CHARLIE:  You know it.
LILA:  Take it easy.
JASMINE:  Bye Frankie.
FRANKIE:  Hey.  Thank you guys for…being there for my daughter.
LILA:  Anytime.

LILA AND JASMINE LEAVE AND FRANKIE TURNS TO CHARLIE.

FRANKIE:  Wow.  You guys were really close weren’t you?
CHARLIE:  We were a family mom.  Dad, Lila, Jasmine and me.
FRANKIE:  I’m so happy that you had them, and Lila was the mother I couldn’t be to you.
CHARLIE:  I know about Lila, but I don’t know about you.
FRANKIE:  What are you talking about?
CHARLIE:  Look I know you’re gonna get defensive but I gotta know why you stayed away for auch a long time.

FRANKIE SITS DOWN.

FRANKIE:  I’m…not gonna get defensive.  I’m gonna tell you the truth.

MICHELE:  You think you have all the leverage don’t you?
BRIDGET:  I do.
MICHELE:  That’s all you wanted wasn’t it?  I don’t care about your threats.  Call the police.

MARLEY STEPS IN BETWEEN THEM.

MARLEY:  No.  Michele, let’s talk in private…please.

END OF PART 2

----------------------------------------------------------------

CONCLUSION

KIRKLAND WALKS UP TO GRANT’S DOOR AND GETS A PHONE CALL FROM AN UNKNOWN NUMBER.

KIRKLAND:  Hello?  Hello?  It’s you isn’t it?  Hello?  Hello?

THE CALLER HANGS UP AND GRANT OPENS THE DOOR.

GRANT:  It’s you.  I thought I heard something out here.

KIRKLAND WALKS IN AND GRANT SHUTS THE DOOR.
Grant Harrison

GRANT:  Thank you for coming.
KIRKLAND:  It sounded urgent.  Is everything okay?
GRANT:  No.  Not at all.  It’s about dad.

 ---------------------------------------

DONNA:  This is reminding me of your mother and your Aunt Marley after the fire.
BRIDGET:  This is a bit different.
JAKE:  No it’s very much the same, and we don’t want you to go down that same road.
VICKY:  I could have sent Marley to prison but I forgave her.
BRIDGET:  Is that what you’re telling me to do mom?  Forgive Michele for what she did?
PAULINA:  This thing that you have going on with Michele has torn this family to shreds.  Somebody’s gotta break the cycle.  Why not let it be you?

----------------------------------------

MARLEY:  You should take Bridget’s offer.
MICHELE:  Why should I?  So she can hold it over me?
MARLEY:  This isn’t a competition.  She’s your sister and it sounds like she wants to keep you out of jail.
MICHELE:  Well I’m not giving her the satisfaction.
MARLEY:  Your mother could have done the same to me.
MICHELE:  I heard the story Aunt Marley.
MARLEY:  No I don’t think you did.  I did some terrible things to her.
MICHELE:  I know what you did.
MARLEY:  And she forgave me, and we’re in a better place.  I got help.  I went to a mental institution and everything was better after that.
MICHELE:  So you’re telling me to…get help.
MARLEY:  You’ll get help in dealing with your anger.  It’s only gonna get worse if you don’t, and I know deep down you don’t want to hurt her, not to mention keep yourself out of jail.  If your mom and I are in a better place after what I did, then you and Bridget get to the same place, but you’ve gotta get help first.

A FEW MINUTES LATER, MARLEY AND MICHELE WALK BACK INTO THE LIVING ROOM.

MICHELE:  You don’t have to call the cops Bridget.  I’ll take the alternative.

FREEZE FRAME ON MICHELE.  SLOW FADE OUT.  END OF 333
